On March 29th, at Oaxaca Beach in Mexico, 8 Chinese smugglers lost their lives at sea. Their deaths hardly sparked any public outcry. Behind them lies a long and arduous route of smuggling into the United States that has emerged over the past two years, a route fraught with hardship but also renewed hope.
