I saw Stellar Blade getting every comparison BUT NiER Automata. I'll be honest, my first... glance 👀... at NiER is what kept me away and it eventually became my favorite game of all time. Stellar looks and sounds 200% like NiER and I will take it! Very excited if not just for a game that's essentially a playable soundtrack.

I'm surprised by how positive they are when talking about SH2. The visuals and animations are still pretty rough, but even aside from that they way they sohw off action combat or how they still throw a bunch of messages in the levels to let you know that "james is a bad guy guys get it?" I still don't really get why it's so hyped up in general. Unless it's all just people who have never played the original and just want visuals and action.

@@InnerRise Depends on the game really. I've see a quite a few SH fans think that it looks weird or that they shove down the tones of the game down your throat too much. Or games like FF7R is very mixed among fans, while newcomers like it a lot. But with SH2 i get the feeling a lot of people know about SH or how many people think SH2 is a masterpiece and now want to jump in, especially after P.T. also pushed SH interest again.

The consensus on Generations was pretty positive when it came out but has soured over time, at least that's my impression. I think it doesn't help that the next big anniversary game was Mania, which was just better in every way.

The Casino Night pinball stage was a preorder bonus on console and included on Steam, maybe that’s what Damiani was thinking of. When the game came to Xbox One backward compatibility the stage was available in that store to claim for free.

If you mean the anti cheat... no problem. One at least long running example of a game that has used gameguard was PSO2, a decade long game, 0 issues like whatever crazyness you probably think happens of which could have a chance at happening in various other ways completely unrelated to kernal level processes. Also if you have ever advocated for EAC(easy anti cheat) ine of the most widely used.. in place of this or any other well... that's also kernal level btw. Tbf at most the game may run into annoying crashing issues or a random file going bad and having to validate files again or something similar. Frustrating but incredibly minor to what people think will happen..

They're weird as fuck sometimes, but the gameplay and entertainment factor delivers. Also, they tell compelling stories with coherent themes. Death Stranding is a super unique and interesting game, MGSV is a masterpiece from a gameplay perspective. He is glazed on because he is doing something nobody else is doing and doing it extremely well.

But yeah, nothing here is anything we didn't know about already, heck the only game that didn't have gameplay before this outside the vr games which are new reveals in general, is that game made by the creator of bioshock, but we knew that game was being made alraedy. We've seen a lot of steller blade already, I'll play it eventually but it's not new, neither is death stranding 2, which I was already planning on buying eventually as well. There are new first party games and nothing new besides the psvr 2 games (which was the best part of the showcase fr)

Stellar blade seems to be disappointing. The highlights they choose to give us - You can get side quests. - You can buy items - You can upgrade your weapon. - There is a skill tree. - You can level up. They are really going after Nier Automata. But Nier have outstanding narrative and story.

So basicaly everything that every other gameplay showcase trailers is showing you. Plus they shown enemies and world design. They gave ppl enough to be excited without showing too much. Also the game is not even out to know if the story is better or worse or equal to Nier Automata. Ppl see female anime character in a postapocaliptic world and say it copied Nier Automata. Beside some small similarities Stellar Blade looks nothing like Nier Automata. Even combat wise look different.

They have FFVII Rebirth, Helldivers II, Rise of the Ronin and Stellar Blade. 4 console exclusives all coming out before the end of April. 3 of those games are being published by SIE so same as titles like Bloodborne, Death Stranding, Nioh will likely never get Xbox versions.
