I think it is more common in ER but it definitely happened in DS 3. I suspect it is partly because players can't get invaded solo, so nobody has any idea what to do when it is a 1v1.

Well, Chase is on another level. This guy cries about lag, Chase uses their lag against them by leading them into corridors and precasting. Chase constantly uses buffs, pots, bows,etc. Everything he has in his arsenal. And above all, Chase's footage has no swearing, but constant live commentary about what is happening and why he does what he does moment to moment. And yeah, maybe he only posts footage where he wins but at least he has footage to post about winning.

For f*s sake, Steel, you should at least have an anti-mage setup. Where's Assassin's Gambit? Erdtree Greatshield? Carian Retaliation? And abuse Endure + AoE ashes of war. Also add top tier smithscript weapons to your build to fight back their long range spam, great bow doesn't always work. Sometimes insisting on the DS3 skill-based fight style will get you killed fast. Show those scrubs who's the boss
