The unity question of Nigeria right from the amalgamation has not been answered by Nigerians. Though Nigeria was created by the forced amalgam, we have not addressed it for our benefit. This is the core of our quagmire. The mutual suspicion and antagonism have been exploited to our disadvantage. Our erstwhile colonialist understand this issue hence, the continued sponsorship of the division popularly known as the Divide and Rule. The earlier we discover and address this union the better for us all. The notion of development will continue to be a mirage until this is addressed. The saddest part is that it will emanate from the people. The leadership currently is benefitting from this current structure so they will not support change. May God help us.

Kenyans took this protest, civil disobidience approach coz through our history (before and after our independence), has proven to work for us viz clamour for change, multi party politics, new constitution etc, The protest in the last two weeks is working.. coz we are now having THE RIGHT CONVERSATIONS. Ps Ghanaians decided the praying approach when their govt pulled a similar stance.. So.. pick yours.

The situation of the youths of today is different from we the youths of yesteryears. Youths of the former days had hope because jobs were available to us even if things were not moving well at that time. Today the youths have no hope. On top of this most of them are jobless. And this joblessness is not entirely their own making. An accumulation of inappropriate actions and inactions of our politicians have led to this hopeless situation. So today's youths have the right to exhibit their youthful exuberance. We have failed them. And upto this time we do not realize it. Even the present African leaders could not understand the wind of change that is happening today!! It appears our leaders are clueless at this time.

Africans, I have a very serious question for the governments of Africa and it’s this. Does the governments of Africa have no clues what national security is about? I ask this question simply because these governments just want to hear money from foreign governments and they automatically agree to having not just any foreign governments but the very gov/ countries that has enslaved Africans to be allowed to put military bases on the continent of Africa. When animals in the jungles sees a lion, they run as fast as they can, but African leaders graciously runs towards the governments of countries that have come and harm millions of our families in Africa. Imagine if the Nigerian musicians started singing revolution songs and they become hits among the youth. Imagine if those youths that are well off started organising small well planned protests. The aim would not to be taken seriously by the government but by the other youths who will now know where to go if they want to express their frustrations. Imagine if you can have even 1M youths heeding to calls of which politician owned businesses to boycott. Always keep track and spread displays of incompetencies by your elected officials or ministers. Take note in serious matters affecting your rural or sparsely populated areas like those of Boko haram and every opportunities you get ask your leaders or the media what is being done about it and when to expect any tangible results before considering the current government incompetent of solving that problem.
