As for finding a mentor, we would recommend joining a local Chapter of NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers). NARPM can help you get the necessary education and mentorship that you might need as you start up a PM company. Try to check out washington.narpm.org/ or kingcounty.narpm.org/. By the way, the national chapter of NARPM is also putting on a big conference in October that will allow you to attend educational talks and network with property management professionals from all over the US.
