Great show as always, my biggest takeaway this offseason is that nothing will happen til it happens 😂 every player around the league will be a Steeler until they’re not. Mason’s the guy in my opinion, i really hope they don’t let him leave. And i trust Arthur Smith to fix this offense. Russ may be a good fit too, only time will tell. Appreciate the content

If I am the Steelers, I am taking a CB in the first round. Then you have 2 Lockdown CBs which will immensely help the Pass Rush particularly the Edge Rushers TJ and Highsmith. Also, it will allow the Steelers to employ and more effective 3 Star Safety Package that will minimize the use of the ILB's in Coverage. Sign CJ Gardner and pair him with Minkah. Bring back Edmunds as your in the Box Safety. And this will solidify the Defense. CB is the Priority draft and in Free agency Signing CJ Gardener is the priority. Then you look at your Centers in the 2nd or 3rd rounds of the Draft alone with ILB, DL, and WR. And in Free Agency you double down on OLB, ILB, DL, OL, and WR. As far as the QB situation, Rooney Wants Mason, The Players want Mason. Steelers should sign Mason to a 3 year 10 Mil deal per year (30 MIL). This is very cheap compared to most starting NFL QB's who command 30 MIL per year. This is a possibility of the Steelers QB Room in 2024: Mason QB1, Wilson QB2 and KP8 QB3. You can sign Wilson to the Vet minimum of 1.2 MIL as the Broncos are on the hook for the remaining 37.8 Mil due to the guaranteed structure of the Contract if they release him.

Ben was terrible at the end and Mason wasn't good enough to jump ahead of him. He has been a backup, was drafted as a backup, and will remain a backup. I love the dudes heart and wish we kept him as a backup but he is not a starter.

Why does anyone have a contract longer than 2 yrs in their mind… why do y’all mention things that insinuate you have a GM owner or head coach would do something like that. Not rocket science. Sean Payton’s Scheme does NOT mesh with Wilson’s skillset. Payton wants a Drop back Drew Brees like QB rather than an “off schedule” extend the play QB like Wilson.
