@@6vhgbbh595 No it isn't, the Skijati has those golden umbra U's on the handle, it also doesn't have that lotus shaped cross guard. I know this for a fact because I looked up a picture on the wiki before my first comment to check because at first I thought it was the Nikana Prime, but the Nikana Prime has a golden hoop on the pummel.

Warframe's levels are tilesets that have different loot placements and obstacle layouts each mission. While the overall layout and appearance of the environment might be the same, the way around and the placement of resources is as random as the playthrough of a single mission. Also, the story IS the mission. There is no separate mode for playing warframe's campaign. Instead, they turned that into a series of thematic quests.

You dont really get to experience much untill you unlock steel path (after completing the star chart) and complete the newer story quests. Its like a completely different game after that They also have 3 open world missions now with their own missions and bounties. Duviri paradox is also like a brand new gamemode where the gameplay completly changes

the story in WF is actually VERY special, in fact as an older dude it's the only game to make me cry. But that stuff only starts after the later planets, about 20-50hrs in. Absolutely worth it though. These devs are brave, its always weird, fascinating, different, and thought provoking. Acted extremely well too. Its not the usual stock played out cookie cutter crap you see in most AAA these days. This game has no right being free. I don't play these days as I burnt out after about 1k hours. But that is only praise. I definitely didn't spend 1k hrs worth of money on the game. Speaking of spending, I completely disagree with your opinion of "monetisation is pretty bad". it just never asks for any money. No constant destiny e-begging pop ups, every piece of content is free and accessible, except the cosmetic skins that are made by the community. It is one of those rare games that you only feel the 'need ' to spend because you one day notice your steam hours are sudden;y 100hrs but you haven't spent any money yet, and you simply feel morally obligated to reward the dev. Which is how it should be done imo.

There actually is a lengthy explanation of the Orbiter's systems in-game, a little button labeled Tutorial at the bottom right of the screen, which is better than nothing. The real problem however is that not only does the game not have the tutorial text automatically come up during the first time you interact with that system, but there isn't even anything in game that actively helps you notice the tutoial. Hell, I've been playing since 2015 and I am still wondering when the feature was added. Edit: fixed typos

Even at the starters, warframe's guns aren't trash. However, at higher level ranges, weapons DO get significantly outmatched. Same applies to warframes themselves with status effects and damage.

The early story is fairly basic, but one you hit Second Dream it ramps up significantly. And then there's the "you have to dig for it" lore which is a very deep rabbit hole in and of itself, like codex and synthesis lore, Ordia's hidden backstory in the cephalon fragments, the lore of the Duviri location (beyond what the custscenes tell you), some of the item descriptions, a few trailers, the ARG stuff before a few of the updates, the lyrics to some of the OST tracks, one-time events that either happen right before or right after a major update... The list just keeps getting bigger and bigger with each named patch.

You can look cool in Warframe and still not spend a single dime. As stated in the video, the premium currency, Platinum is tradable. You can just farm for Prime Warframes, weapons and sell it to other players for Plats, and buy cosmetics with it. Of cause not all cosmetics can be bought that way, like Tennogen, fan created cosmetic that can only be bought with real money because a portion of the money goes to the original creator.

That's exactly one of the reasons some games have very dedicated fanbases. Sometimes there are just great filters that weed out players that won't last, so the casual ones have so much catching up to do that it becomes unsurmountable. Then only the dedicated or the crazy ones remain lol.

@meshmerah14 Yeah, I do think if warframe explained more at the beginning, like flat out, I think it wouldn't be so overwhelming, and atleast the content is super easy when it comes to the star chart, so atlesst you can fly through those quests and missions. It just still takes quite some time, which most people don't have nowadays because of the economy, so people have to work way more.

Well, it's quite fun, see your thoughts based on you past experience, long time ago, where you even dropped, basically still in tutorial phase of game, where you seen maybe just 1/4 of the game still. Usually the real game experience comes after 40 hours if you RUSH progress, or more like 100+ hours of normal gameplay. With "literally game-changing" story plot twist, that comes much further, starting at Neptune. Where REAL WARFRAME, finally begin.

@KaironDaPlayer yeah I think I played like 20-30 hours the last time i dropped it because it just seemed like a waste of time pay to win because of how the early game is and everything costing premium currency, def still a new player in warframe terms, and I am playing through it again on stream going in with the new information from these videos so hopefully I'm not disappointed like with D2 as it just got worse after d2 season 1🙂

The new player experience gets way too criticised in my opinion. It's improved so far beyond how it was and people still say the game is too overhwelming or complicated despite the fact that there are resources in-game which explain just about everything to a basic level, or in some cases like status effects the tooltip now tells you exactly what they do and how they work. It may not hold your hand and treat you like you were born yesterday, but is that really a bad thing? The quests are also a great guideline to follow so you always have a distinct goal and can't get lost. At this point the main reason people find the game so overwhelming is because people have told them it will be and so in the back of their mind its what they expect, instead of just taking it slow and learning it the same way you'd learn anything else.

Completing the second dream is when you've completed the early game. Unlocking the Steel Path is the midgame. Playing the Steel Path is the endgame. Fashion frame is the true endgame.

You didn't get to the point where the story in warframe actually starts. finishing the start chart is just the start of the game.

@MEYH3M This is true, but most people are gonna drop a game 10 hours max into it if it's good or bad. The star chart takes way longer than 10 hours. Terrible defense for the early game, not giving you information on trading with other players and other things in the game that cancel out the pay to play. Story alright, tho.

@@RykerDCZ Yeah the early game can be a bit repetitive and boring, it has been getting a ton and ton of quality of life changes which is all good and all because it at least makes it easier, less confusing and shorter, but imo it needs something more substantial, like an introduction cinematic quest to the story and mechanics, + more gameplay variety.

Wow a person claiming missions are not randomly generated. I have thousands of hours, multiple accounts. The only places this is not the case is in story mode. It works on tile sets. Why should I even hear you out any further? You never passed vor's prize.
