Husband is on “ house arrest “ but takes a quick trip to Home Depot to purchase cleaning supplies for the small amount of $450 (which he pays in cash.) Husband avoids telling the police this minor detail. The police searches the house and finds blood on the wall, as well as a knife with blood on it in the basement. Husband has a history of being a CON, not only regarding the fake art he sold on eBay for which he was sentence to serve time, but the time in the past when he robbed his late dad for hundreds of thousands of $$$. Police traces old searches in the computer and discovers searches such as “ how to dispose of a 115 pound body” and “ how to dismember a body”.:. Hmmmm 🤔 Police arrest the husband and he parades with a big SMILE, instead of being devastated for his wife and children. Yeah!!!! I think I’ll stay alone with my cats 🐱

Show me the study that shows the death penalty is a deterrent for murder. Just one study. And I’ll listen. Because it’s been proven many times that it has no effect at all. There was just a study done a year ago that tracked murder rates during Covid and it showed not only were the highest murder rates in death penalty states, but even amongst those states those that used the death penalty more showed higher murder rates. Not even saying there’s a correlation there, but the data is at the very least opposite to your opinion.
