Teacher pay and funding is too low. Why aren't we paying our teachers realistic salary. They teaching the inheritors of our country. Teachers shouldn't have to foot there bill for supplies for their students.

90k is too much, imo, and I was a teacher. 65k to start is very fair. And also, working in customer service or at a call center is also draining work and also not worth a measly 40k. Sadly there are a lot of jobs out there that pay peanuts, but trying to increase to 90k is taking advantage of a system. That’s 10k less than starting engineers at tech companies earn.

CRT is an advanced graduate level law theory. Which states if just about all racist people no longer exist in the US. You would have to look at the laws and statutes and how they disenfranchise people. I taught my daughter about all of American history and she taught her teacher. But her teacher says because of these crazy laws she cannot and is afraid to teach what really happened in American History.

Pay must always be tied to results. Learning gains are easier at poor/public/black/inner-city/title 1 schools. If you raise reading level from 1 to 3, you get higher pay than if raised from 4 to 5. No Gain, No Pay!
