Can’t just group all midfielders together, it’s like comparing Modric to Busquets. Jude is definitely performing at a top 3 midfield level this season when it comes to attacking aspects of football. And he’s definitely been solid for at least 3 seasons now. His role clearly changed from box to box in Dortmund to attacking midfield/CF at Madrid. Same goes for Saka at Arsenal. Been top 5 in goal contributions for 2 seasons now, double digit assists for multiple seasons, goal or assist against nearly every club in England last season. Rants still says he’s not world class. Can’t name 3 better right wingers though, dudes hyping up Cole Palmer instead. 😂

If you get a career ending injury at a young age then you shouldn't even be in a conversation for best players, it's common sense. We rate only thoes who went to war, not those who trained for war but died on the way to the battlefield.

Saka is a special player, facts. He’s consistently put up a numbers for Arsenal, year after year in a struggling team, and has delivered tournament football. No other England player has done that in years. The disrespect is strange. Mainoo has had half a dozen good performances and people say Saka is overhyped 🤦🏽

If anyone actually remembers, Saka was in the CAM position in his first start for Emery against Frankfurt in the Europa League and he scored from outside the box. He only played LB once Tierney was (surprisingly) injured. Saka was the same age when he broke into the England squad as well

When saka was 18 he was playing LB which wasn’t his natural position which is even more of a compliment that Emery/Arteta thought to keep him there because he was so good and he got double figure assists there, whereas Mainoo is playing his natural position and England needed a midfielder at this period so exactly IT IS CONTEXT as to why Mainoo has broken into the England squad so early…if saka was playing RW at 18 and england required a winger and he wasn’t selected then you would be right but that’s not the case.
