Nars concealer hides nothing. It’s great for people who have less to no blemishes. It makes my eyes look tired. Same, I’ve tried over corrector, with moisturizer, different tools and techniques but no luck. Thank you for being the only influencer here who is honest .

I love this video!!! We ❤ the deets. Critical is key. No one wants gritty lips, does nothing haircare, silicone heavy sunscreen, sticky cheeks, drying?!? Lip balms. Thank you!!! & I’ve heard that the Tower 28 glosses go off and shift color so fast. But the shades are so pretty!! Oh and the Nars creamy concealer that has baffled me for years!! It’s so dry and ridiculously hard to blend. Very strange. Glad you can relate to my utter confusion. I tried my moms ilia skin tint and holy cow. Literal coagulated globs of product came out of the dropper. Weird. Love the shimmery Bobbi brown shadow sticks. I wonder if they would be an improvement to the Laura Mercier.

I also feel so seen and heard....I too despise a wet greasy look...I wanted the Ilia skin tint to pan out but also couldn't get it off of my face fast enough! I was eyeing Tower28 after all that I've heard but might skip it as it seems you and I have similar preferences. Awesome video! The products I’ve tried from your list, I totally agree with you. The Nars concealer is SO drying on me, I never understood what the hype was. I convinced myself on multiple occasions to re-purchase it…and it’s never worked. Haven't tried the mascara as I love Thrive & Ilia, but I love their lip jellies (the sheer & the milky ones & I never have noticed any weird or strong smell & I am very sensitive to that) , cream blushes ,the bronzer & their spf foundation . Oh yea..also their SOS spray. And speaking of lip glosses with overpowering smell....I went to Sephora & tried that Gwen Stefani gloss you love & I fell inn love with the formula & color (using hand swatches), but the smell was absolutely overpowering/slickening on me (also read reviews about that) & did not dissipate & I knew if I bought it I wouldn't be able to wear it. Ugh!! Had the same thing with a Tarte lip gloss I used to love years ago. And I just tried Danessa Myricks color fix in the foil called "Alien" & returned it after one use as it was all glitter & not metallic at all. I just ordered the new Wander beauty limited edition eyeshadow duo you mentioned as that looks so gorgeous!! Sorry for the long winded comment. lol. 😎

The only product for merit that didn’t work for me was the foundations stick. Absolutely awful. The only way I can wear the Nars concealer is as an all over foundation base. Putting a lighter shade under my eyes is never a good look for me 😢

I love this video and totally agree with the products I've tried. Like Ilia's Super Serum and Merit's Complexion Stick. I almost bought Pat McGrath's blush in Fleurtacious based on people recommending it to you. I just didn't think it would be pigmented enough and went with Divine Rose instead. It's lovely and we have a similar skin tone.

I’d love a Part 2. Okay I completely agree with the makeup by Mario lip serum. It bleeds out of my lip lines. Hated T28 lip jellies. I rage used up all three.😂. The illumination bronzer looked great in low light but in sunlight looked like I had weird gold glitter on my face like a gold tin man. I took one whiff of the Fenty Gloss Bomb and immediately returned it. And the Fenty skin tint brought out texture previously unseen. Now Unseen Sunscreen is my all time favorite chemical sunscreen. Love Summer Fridays lip butter balms. Nars radiant creamy concealer works for my teen and me and I like the fluertatipus blush. I like the Rare Beauty shimmery liquid blushes but not the mattes. Love being able to compare notes with people whose opinion I enjoy and respect.🥰

The Rare Beauty liquid blushes look so patchy on my skin no matter how I apply it. I had the same problem with Glossier cloud paints. Other cream blushes also emphasize texture on my face and they don't last long so I just stick with powder blushes 🤷‍♀️ I agree with the tower 28 and fenty lip glosses. Hot chocolit was the worst one, the glitter on that one actually hurt my lips 😣

I had a sample of that ILIA Super Serum and it looked absolutely awful on me! Their other one, True Skin Serum, seemed a bit easier to work with. I always enjoy hearing the "why" behind products working or not working, since everyone has different preferences, skin types, dealbreakers, etc.

Finally someone has an objective review on the Rare Beauty liquid blush! Not only are they super pigmented, they dry and set into my skin too fast as well. So I can only put a tiny dot on the back of my hand, pick up about half of it with my finger tip, and then swipe and tap my face so fast to get it on that I lose track of placement, and often end up with an uneven finish. Every influencer that I've watched seem to just over apply it, and then blend more foundation over it, and then there's a weird cut in the video, and the end result is magically perfect. That's just not how I apply makeup 😅

Couldn’t agree more with you on the Tower 28 lip jellies. I was so excited to try them based on so many rave reviews from other KZbinrs but when I actually tried them I was so disappointed. The smell is awful I can’t describe it but I hate it 😭 it’s unfortunate because the colors are amazing. Going to try to use all of them up because it’s too late and I’ve already spent the money but I won’t be repurchasing 😪

Haha, it was very entertaining to hear your opinion on these products. Clearly, everyone has to find out for themselves what works and what doesn't. But it filled me with satisfaction 😉 to hear that someone else doesn't like the Fenty Gloss Bombs. Most of all, it's the scent (and taste) that reminds me of a children's cough syrup. How can anyone enjoy that? I know, I know, we are all so different and bla... 😄

I’ve always wondered what you thought about the tower28 lip jellies! I also don’t like them, they’re too sticky and there are other better products. My friend loves their bright pink gloss though, so there you go! I also don’t love the cream blush because it fades so quickly. I agree I love the brand though!

I can't believe Danessa Myricks foils didn't make it, it's my absolute favourite liquid glitter formula, but then I love textured eyeshadow more than anything and I actually do not like the matte color fix formula at all. Funny how different product do not work at all for different people. Loved this video from you Kait!

Laura Płuciennik: It's actually common sense that a product that is a holy grail for one person is a fail for another. Every human has different skin even at different times during their lifetime or during a month. It doesn't mean a product is bad, it means it didn't work for a particular human. Human skin is a spectrum from oily to dry and everything in between. You have to find what works for you.

This is a bad answer but the original bite agave lip mask. I purchased ten before they reformulated so I’m working through those, but I also love the Fitglow night lip serum, the laneige lip mask, Pacifica vegan collagen lip balm, tarte sugar rush lip balm. Maybe I’ll do a lip balm video soon!

You should try the cream blushes from Bobbi brown. I have the same problem as you have, but this blush lasts all day on me 😅

I love the Westman Atelier baby cheeks. Bought three- Poppet, Petal and Dou Dou. I love almost all the WA products except the squeaky clean lip balm - the colors just don’t work for me.

I wholeheartedly agree with Tower 28 mascara and Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush. The mascara just doesn't do anything for me, and the blush is way too pigmented and finicky to work with. I wanted to like them, but I just can't use them anymore.

i'm kinda happy you let us know about the Summer Fridays lip balm. i've been seeing it everywhere and was contemplating getting it, but now i'm going to pass on it. My all time favourite is the Clarins moisture replenishing lip balm, and it stays onn all night. not slippy, not fragranced, and actually heals my cracked lips. i also recently got the Vieve lip dew and it's FANTASTIC. really sticks to the lips, and the packaging is luxe yet compact.

@@StateofKait i've tried the Skin Nova primer, but i don't really care for glowy primers (i rarely use primers, my skincare is enough). it was fine, but someone else would probably do a better review. their Eye wands look nice, though!

That Fenty foundation nearly did my head in. I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t working. I managed to make it work with In Beauty Face Glaze…but I don’t reach for it cuz it’s work!
