Sometimes I'm wondering if I'm still living in the real world because I see soooo many ads on social media about Dyson, as if it was an accessible product when it actually costs like 500€ ??? I'm like... Is everybody super rich now and I was left behind without noticing? Why did anybody tell me we're all millionaires now ? Because last time I've checked, I was still broke 💀 is it just me ? Can you all afford a new Dyson ? I genuinely wanna know !

Thank you for a reality check about fashion trends. This never took up so much of our time before social media!! More and more destruction occurs because it seems that people aren't concerned with character as much as appearance.

Kait, honestly, those Tik Tok videos or wherever they came from are the stupidest things I've ever seen. I mean if their main concern in life, is eyebrow blindness, then they must lead such peaceful, perfect lives. As I've had two friends die of drowning in the mountains of NC, I struggle from check to check to either pay the electric bill or buy dogfood, and save up every dollar so MAYBE I can afford some of the makeup you guys show, which of course is no shade on you, I love your videos. But I think it's freakin pathetic that they're worried about their eyebrows when the death toll is rising in NC and nobody seems to care.

If buying your favourite perfumes, the bigger bottles are much better regarding cost per ml! So, if trying out anew perfume, I'd understand getting a small bottle, but if you are buying your favourite, calculate it and go for the bigger bottle.

When I was 25 I wanted the Brooke Shields brows. And luckily, I was able to do it naturally, because I'm Italian so I had long thick dark hair and thick bushy brows. Now, I'm just somewhere in-between. Right in the middle is perfect for me now :) Very interesting video Kait, it will be one of my favs from you! 😘😘😘

The thin brows are very flattering on your face. I’m a GenXer and I lived through the thin eyebrows. Plucking does cause the brow hairs to take a long time to grow back, but they do eventually come back. I shave my brows to shape them now and they’re healthier than ever. I would recommend shaving with a Shick Touch Up to anyone wanting to try the 90s brow. Covering the brow hairs with concealer and gel only looks nice on camera with good lighting. In natural light it looks like crap. Shaving won’t make your hair stop coming back in and it gives the cleanest look without paying big bucks for waxes or risking your brows with tweezers.

The only thing I regret about my thinner brows is the length. I plucked them with too much of a gap over my nose. I've been plucking my eyebrows since I was 13, and I'm 62. They ain't coming back!!

i’m white, in my early 20s, and pale as hell-i also kinda hate this “dark circles” trend on tiktok… my eyes have *some* hyperpigmentation (like the women shown in this video), but my “dark circles” are mainly due to the fact that i have very deep-set, sunken eyes. if i tilt my head down even slightly, you’ll see them; i’ve never been able to cover them up with concealer like these other women are able to because mine are structural. idk, sometimes it comes off as “stolen valor” if i can be dramatic about it. i’d be more supportive of this trend if it also wasn’t heavily associated with the “natural beauty” shit (🙄). this past year or so, i’ve embraced my “dark circles” more and still do my normal eye makeup (pretty dark and heavy with the eyeliner)-often, i prefer my makeup *without* concealer (unless i’m doing a full beat). i want to see more fun looks with no/minimal concealer in this trend… DOWN WITH THE NO-MAKEUP MAKEUP!

what a cool video. i have no say in having thicker brows, i went on a acne treatment when i was a teen and i had some of the cream in my brows, the next day my brows went on a ten year vacay, they litteraly fell of, imagine my face the next day.haha. and now i have thin and spars brows. when it comes to makeup blindness i say stop judging others and instead look for the pretty about their makeup. i say do what makes you feel ready to take on the world, if its "to much" you see the other person never again. i try to do this when seeing ppl, but im not perfect and when i see a person with way over lined lips or brows bigger than their head i might judge a little. try to do better. as an old dino in my 35 year i learned not to give a shit, if i feel like not wearing a thing im not going to. beeing from the era when mobile phones didnt excist until i was a teen i didnt know about some of these phenomenons he he. hope your well and safe kait, hope your health is great and autumn is treating you well. love ya

I don’t want to bum you ,you are really pretty but in the TikTok filter when you have thin eyebrows, your face is also very very blurry. You can’t even tell you have one pore You literally don’t look real. I think that thicker eyebrows that you have right now is more suitable to you.

I’ve really been getting sick and tired of KZbin comments lately , people just can’t wait to jump on something you’ve said or even misspelling words on masse! People get soo nasty ! It’s quite toxic lately , people are so much more likely to speak to others in comments what they’d never dream of saying to you in real life ! It’s weird , they’re like sharks , pack mentality and everyone desperate for validation to their comments

People feel so terrible about themselves for no reason. It's so discouraging to me as someone in the beauty industry, it makes me wonder if i am capitalizing on people's insecurities. Too many people ask if I can fix their microscopic "flaws". For me, beauty is fun, exciting, and good for my health and I wish other people got to experience that without the additional baggage.

as someone who's done art their whole life, colour analysis rubs me the wrong way because it's so simplified. I get that colour theory can be hard but it's not a monumental task to learn. if you can sit around and learn colour analysis, you can do the same with colour theory.

Facial harmony is so bizarre. It’s the kind of thinking that convinced Jennifer Grey to get a nose job. Kirsten Dunst, Angelina Jolie, Selena, Twiggy, Katherine Hepburn, Rita Hayworth, Josephine Baker, Iris Apfel, and other beauty icons wouldn’t pass their purity test. Harmony is boring. I want weird, wonderful faces with interesting eyes, unusual noses, crooked teeth, and mouths that are unexpectedly large, small, thin, or full.

We had skinny brows in the 1970s so we over-plucked and over-plucked. Our brows looked like skinny tadpoles above our eyes. MANY of us had to wait years for some of our brows to grow back with a number of us permanently locked in with ‘tadpole' eyebrows. Yes, now you may be making a beauty statement but for some that is permanent. Something to think about is as you age your brows have a good chance of naturally 'thinning out' so you’ll get those thin brows. One sign of hypothyroidism are the brows thinning out, starting from the edge of the tail up to the arch. Menopause is no friend either. Just know your brows may take a hit too so please, unless you have thick brows think hard about plucking out your brows. On Pam Anderson’s thin eyebrows, I was disappointed when her natural brows were tweezed off and went to eyebrow heaven and were never seen again. You have perfect eyebrows, shape and color. I remember when mine looked similar to yours but then at 15 started plucking to look like the models in ‘Seventeen' magazine🙄 Very few grew back and 27 years later was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. One of the signs appeared right on my face…..what little eyebrow tails I had left. Your mother passed on some pearls of wisdom. I think someone in the comments said to try shaving the shape you want, I’d give that a try before plucking😉🦋

People are gonna look back at their 2024 photos and regret the thin brows again 😭 But then again, people look back now at 2016 crisp brows with same regret; and 2020 fluffy brows! The only thing against thin brows is the damage can be permanent. But you’re right that people are free to have fun w trends and learn from it! That’s the real root of trends: have fun and accept that we’ll always have beauty trend regrets 😂
