I am baffled that in the last 5 years being an influencer has become a means to make money for people, and not just a fun thing they do

Are we really being compared to birds? Why don't we focus on Corporations instead? Why don't you go after CEOs that don't pay their workers. Why don't we EVER focus on elon Musk, Bob Iger, Trump(I will give you that), Jeff Bezo and the many CEOS. I work in film many actors walked the line during the SAG/WGA strikes. I can't say the same for all the CEOs who want to use AI to replace us.I think you shouldnt follow celebs like Jesus but I dont think they are a problem. I think the Govt is a problem, Corporate greed, and like i said the 1% percent of the wealth who don't help or share. The day we wake up to that than maybe maybe we can start to fix something. I don't blaming celebs is gonna get us out of problems. I think blaming celebs(except Trump) that don't FORCE us to do anything is just escaping what are really problems are. You don't have to follow celebs it is very easy to not follow them.

Oh, man! This video didn't age well. And it's only 2 months old. I guess all these "influencers" get burned sooner or later.

Blake is a very superficial person, who has no passion for the craft. She is famous bec she is pretty and is associated with other famous people, but she has no substance as an actor. She is trying to get out of her gossip girl persona, but she does not act like a mature actor. She does not seem like a good person slso, going by how she acts during interviews with common folks. That is my opinion.

I have been hating these out of touch celebrities tring to tell us to work and then donate money for a cause from their million dollar mansions, when we are struggling to make ends meet... remember Oprah and the Rock, get TF out of here. I don't want to hear your stance on politics or climate change. All you people do is say words someone else wrote in front of a camera, you have no opinions of your own and certainly no clue about how the world works!!!

This bizarre celebrity worship is an American phenomenon. The fact that this video has to be made is frankly a bit ridiculous.

If celebrities exclusively stuck to making quality films, music, and other forms of entertainment and products im sure people would hate them wayyy less. They can have their views on politics and issues of course but when they use their status and wealth to influence society and try to coerce us how to live our lives we hate them. We despise them. I also personally dont see wealth as necessarily evil. If you made your money through honest work then you have the right to spend it however you want. But when you flaunt it all like youre some superior being dont expect universal love from people.

Well, I mean, I think everyone is trying to convince others with their opinion. So as you, every sentence you make, Beginns with „I“ think, fell like, or believe. There are always some form of trends. Super Thin brows was at some point a trend, Buffalo platform shoes was a huge trend in Europe the 90 along, it continues in every category of lifestyle like that. I don’t see a problem with that in anyway though. Just let people live 🤷🏻♀️

The real irony of John Lennon's "Imagine" song was that the millionaire (in the 1960's!) songwriter made the video in his mansion on his private estate. Total lack of self-awareness.

You are being extremely reductionist about the situation with Mila/Ashton/Danny Masterson. Letters of representation are a _normal_ part of the justice process. They weren’t using their celebrity to ask for privileges for Danny Masterson, they were asked as close friends of the defendant to write an honest character account from their own perspectives for the Judge’s consideration. Their purpose isn’t to go, ‘Here’s why we think he didn’t do it, let him off.’ They’re there to say, ‘We know you’ve heard the very worst of him over the past few weeks, here’s how we know him, and here are a few of the kind things he’s done for us throughout our friendship.’ Their purpose is to re-humanise the defendant after a trial. You may think Danny Masterson doesn’t deserve it, but that doesn’t matter one bit. To think there should be exceptions is to undermine the justice system which, while not perfect, has to be FAIR and treat everyone equally regardless of whether you find the defendant tasteful. Try putting yourself in their shoes. If one of your closest friends, whom you’ve known for decades and has been nothing but good to you, asked you to write them a simple character account, are you saying you wouldn’t do it? Some can’t so easily turn their back on a friend who’s been there for them over the years, even if the accusations are severe. Ashton and Mila should not have had to make that video or deal with any of this drama, and those letters should have never been publicised. Edit: By drama, I mean people like you shit-stirring, giving extreme exaggerations of ‘they’re actively working against victims,’ when that’s not what they were trying to do at all. You’ve made assumptions without doing any homework because you make money off drama.

Unfortunatelly people are still so susceptible to all products regarding beauty, weight loss and so on.. and brands are still exploiting that fact......Companies are paying those influencers large amounts of money or giving them lavish gifts or taking them to fancy vacations just to advertise their products.....Off course they will praise their brands...Influencers are the newest addition for companies to push their products to consumers.......Everyone want's that perfect face or body......And that Tic Tok face modifier is the perfect example.......But what's the point of looking good on camera if you must face reality in front of a mirror and everyday life.......Stop being fooled by those influencers and stop wasting money

Love the non existent celebrity culture back home. George Clooney was shooting some scenes from movie back home and was surprised that literally no one approached him to take a photo or autograph. People know who he is, and because of that they respect him and also respect themselves. In the West, people are screaming and yelling when they see celebrities. Where is self respect?

Many celebrities are vapid and completely out of touch with reality. This movie is nothing more than a payday for Blake Lively and a way for her to showcase her ultra rich lifestyle. Additionally, she's never been the brightest crayon in the Hollywood box. I think it's a good thing she's shown her true colors. It opens the eyes of people who worship her and other celebrities.

Dig a little deeper in the John Lenon lyrics, it’s funny how they used that song for 2020 with all the talk of the great reset and new world order. No borders and no religion sounds to me like a one world order! Programming at its finest.
