Seeing a lot of new bands making a revival of the 2000's post-hardcore sound but with a modern vibe makes me really happy. We're witnessing an important event for post-hardcore and i definitely can't wait to see what the 20's has in store for the genre. It's a matter of time til' these bands blow up.

But if SD sticks with singles, then I guess I'll have to change my habits because I do want to support them. I did buy a ticket for their livestream, but I want an album too.

I reckon they'll drop an EP with the singles on that they've already released, it's more beneficial for a band to release all the singles then put it together in an EP, that why it'll get more reach and then once it's collated into an EP they'll be able to release physical copies

Love seeing guys like this and seeyouspacecowboy. I rejected the scene I grew up with after finding 90s hardcore and emo bands and entered an obnoxious pretentious phase in my 20s, but now that I’m pushing 30 I’m romanticizing the bands I grew up with again. I miss the days of underoath, Thursday, taking back Sunday, from autumn to ashes, poison the well, he is legend, emery, fuck I could go on and on. It’s cool to see and I hope we see more of it

00s vibes, but with magnificent upgrades on the production...the grittiness and organic tones are there, but it's like they slurped the super juice. tight + powerful + polished but not overly-produced or overly-edited like how the genre started veering later in the decade (Joey Sturgis vs Norma Jean style stuff)
