Give us back our three element magika dps blast bones, we know you nerfed our necro mains to sell more of your DLC class that you are just going to Nerf when and If a new class is marketed stop abusing your player base. sub games need regulations that protect intellectual property and also the players time and passion capitalism is ruining everything not just gaming.

80 k is as high as I can get with this build. I have metronome set at 56 bpm, lightattack + ability weave per beat. Blastbone every 2nd ability cast and I’m following static rotation. Every thing the same, but I have dark elf. Please help get me to at least 95k

This is the 4th Magcro build I have checked out, and the first one to advise using Thaumaturge, which I am surprised at, because surely one of the Necros main sources of damage, is damage over time? Why is hardly anyone using Thaumaturge...

I wonder if using the Asylum Destruction staff would be very beneficial for the static rotation since there seems to be many opportunities to cast force pulse twice in quick succession. Could that be stronger than running a Zaan set? Having consistent Chilled, Concussed, and Burning?

With the new changes to the necromancer, did you change the skills on the bars or did you just change to blighted bones instead?

I'm confused. With a Maelstrom staff on the back bar, EC will not proc on the back bar...correct? You will only have 5 pcs on the front bar. All back bar dots won't count for EC uptime or am I not seeing something here?

EC procs on damage, not skill. Drop dots on backbar, then while on frontbar their damage will proc EC.

So I want to make my main as a Bow Bow Build. Which Class would be better for it Nightblade, Sorcerer or (Warden at least not really fan from it) Want to play mostly Pve but also PvP (Bgs) and later maybe Imperial City and Cyrodiil. For Sets I don’t have many yet because I didn’t farm much. I have Scavenging Demise, Venomous, Sellistrix, Balorgh and Backbar Maelstrom and Masterbow atm to use all in Gold.

Hello thank you for your time in making this build. i have a question An I hope you see it. So by Cataylist, says they enemy may only have one elem effect per type active which i take to mean. 1 fire damage, only per time, but you can have ice and fire damage. active at the same time. Wouuld not be better to equip the fire staff on front bar, and a lightning or ice on back?

My best ele cat yptimes have been on: Backbar shock catalyst infused damage Front bar frost or fire charged poison Use scalding rune for flame weakness Use boneyard for frost weakness Use blockade for shock weakness Relying on corpses for the siphon can get very frustrating. Specially if it targets one behind you lol... With ele sus this can get 30+% of off balance too on bosses so every dd can run exploited cp

Just a thought. I think the Dps numbers are inflated when parsing with EC. Since the dummy provided “EC buff” is different from the EC buff the set provides, you are double dipping. Great info though! To get a real sense of the Dps and your EC uptimes, it might be better to use a non-trial dummy. Cheers!

You can’t double dip ec, that’s why ec cro parses hit lower than most full dps builds, they are technically using one set…. The debuffs/buffs are exactly the same…

They created a special EC debuff for the trial dummy. As a result you can stack it with the actual 3 EC debuffs provided by the set. You can see in the patch notes here:

@@ellenroberto7523 no you can’t lol, it’s not stackable, literally is what I’m saying, it’s the same debuff, they are all the same debuff, if you wear alkosh and pick up the shards or another synergy, it doesn’t give you a second debuff for alkosh! And even if it did stack, all you’re getting is some extra elemental weakness, which is not really why you wear ec, it’s for the 15% crit damage. And EVEN IF YOU ARE CORRECT futher, a good dps would have already planned to be capped on crit damage, so the extra 15% puts you over cap so it’s worthless. The “inflated” EC numbers you talk about are a joke and minimal when parsing in it compared to a second real set. Your point is moot…

From patch notes on ESO forum: General By popular request, the raid target dummy now has Elemental Catalyst active on it to help improve accuracy of results for both Magicka and Stamina focused team compositions. Note this bonus does not override Elemental Catalyst’s item set functionality and partially stacks with it due to its unique functionality, so keep this in mind as it may inflate your results if you are wearing this set while parsing on these target dummies.
