Trying to figure out where was I when this album came out. This is my fav Static X album. Now when I listen to this song I get emotional because this creative genius Wayne Static is no longer here. I enjoy listening to his music when i am crafting/sewing/cosplay/designing. RIP Wayne and also to his wife Tera.

When I got this album I was so excited. I had a habit of buying random albums anyway but typically I know at least that I knew 1oftheirsongs. I had no idea who they were. But I remember sitting in the back seat of the car and just thinking I made a mistake. I had no f****** clue what I was listening to. And then because I was on a road trip and I started with the cd at the beginning of the road trip. Let's just say by the end of it. I haven't stopped playing it since then when I was 15😅

This is honestly one of those songs that is just the perfect embodiement of the evil disco sound. You've got that thick, rich techy synth paired with the drums and guitar sweeping you into the rhythm and the vocals? Fucking hell the vocals. You got that slow, visceral build up into the frantic chorus. Honestly this song reminds me of Megadeths "Sweating bullets", it sounds like someone wrestling, grappling with themselves in their mind.
