You read my mind, I was going to suggest that you'd get a scale for your coffee making or hobby. Because I had recently purchased a digital food scale and it has made all the difference in brewing the perfect cup of coffee every single time, just like the coffee houses. I weigh the coffee and the amount of water and the drip coffee maker controls the brewing temperature and time. I would recommend people try this, food scales can be found for under 20 dollars...until the next one !!

Hi Scott. What a pleasure this evening to see your new video. I do like coffee, but unfortunately not many brands of coffee like me. I drank coffee for years with no problems, however, now that I'm older most will give me a headache. After trying many different ones, I finally found one at Sprouts Market I seem to tolerate without it giving me a headache. It's one of their own Sprouts blends. It's fine but not the quality of the coffees you drink. I have to tell you, that since watching your videos, I many times think "I wonder where Scott is parked tonight." You look great and healthy! I'm so much the opposite 😂 light café taste like tea for me. Having drunk café since a child. In PR when weaned from the mother at 5 they're given milk with little coffee and at 10yrs old it switches. And as well am picky on taste. Im into trying different ones as well. I do miss picking coffee beans in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 to laying them out kn the sun to dry waiting to then roast them outside in an open fire to then crushed in a mortal and pestle before being brewed☕️

I just went and picked up a bag of Fogline decaf this afternoon. Now that I know where it is. I'm so glad I follow your channel! I never would have found this wonderful coffee! This time of year, it's awesome to be able to enjoy a cup at night. You could perhaps wrap the older model scale you had in cellophane or a ziplock? I don't know what that might do to its calibration.

Awesome. Fogline has a tent at the Arcata Farmers Market, too The buttons are broken on the old scale. There isn’t a fix. I explained in this video about the issue with the buttons.

For Black Friday, Temu has a scale for $7 (free shipping) with water-resistant buttons and a calibrating weight. Also has tweezers and a cover. I don't like installing apps on my phone for places like Temu, but I've ordered a lot from their website, and have been generally pleased with the value. Takes a few weeks to get items from Temu, though.

Hello, do you have a regulator between your lp tank and your heater? I purchased one that came with a hose with out a regulator but it had a quick disconnect fitting on the tank end, that I couldn’t use. Ended up trying a hose I had but didn’t get much heat. I was wondering if it might be the regulator?? Thanks

Yes, the Olympian Wave heaters require a regulator. There is a label on the heaters that states the correct regulator. You can use a regular bbq grill regulator. Or Olympian sells a very nice hose assembly with a quick disconnect and shut off valve along with the correct regulator
