STATION: how to determine station in labor, what does baby dropping mean

The baby's station is determined during a vaginal exam in labor. The station is the position of the baby in relation to the pelvis. When the baby is half way through the pelvis the station is zero. Baby dropping means that the baby's head is engaged in the pelvis or has entered the pelvis. #BigWheelofBirth
