I've been having false labor with stronger painful contractions for 4 to 5 days. They just feel like a low back and low belly pain, like period pain. Nothing too bad. I can still talk and mostly walk through them. When I relax fully, I barely feel the pain even! Relaxation is key 😍

For me labor felt nothing more than movements in my belly. Like an up and down slight tugging feeling. Didn't feel like much and no where near painful for me. My mom was the same way. I think we're some of the few who have painless births. I never knew I was in labor even apparently in active labor except my water broke....the pressure release from that felt amazing lol 😆 I am one of those ones now who does have agonizing period cramps....so that might...I was really waiting for it to feel that way and thankfully never did. Now pitocin contractions those are a definitely strange..... Like they're powerful but still not the sharp stabbing pains I get with my period....they were just tiring 😅.... Never again will I ask for any of that stuff 😂

@@Aquilare2103Same! I didn't feel much pain at all. I was going about my day. Just so happened to have an ultrasound appointment that day and the doctor couldn't see the baby because the contractions were blocking the view. They pretty much told me go get my bag from the car and come back in to have my baby.lol my little one was out in one push after laboring down until I couldn't hold the baby in anymore.

I feel all my contractions at my cervix. Thought I had lightning crotch but it was contractions (had to google it because I was feeling the pain for a whole week). The epidural didn’t work in my first pregnancy so I knew it would help for my second. For me all my contractions feel like a throbbing stabbing pain at my cervix. It’s wild. Monitor couldn’t pick them up had to have an internal monitor put on my daughter’s head during labor. My contractions also don’t work like normal when I was fully dilated and pushing, my contractions were so far apart they had to give me pitocin to try and speed them up. They didn’t believe me until then. Every woman is built different. Even though my contractions were not consistent they didn’t believe I was in active labor they kept telling me to wait to come in… that was until my water broke and they had to admit me and I was 6cm dilated.. listen to your body.

How about we tell these women the truth. I gave birth twice, first time natural labour, unmedicated, I was able to deal with the contradictions like a hero. Second time, due to a long latent phase of the labour, the doctor had to broke my water and just because of that, the minute I got to 4 cm dilated I thought I want to get out of my body, that’s how horrible the contractions were…I requested a n epidural, however when I started pushing the doctor noticed that the umbilical cord was wrapped around baby’s neck so they had to do the c section…the conclusion is that we should leave our body to do everything naturally…if possible

What does it feel like without the induction methods. I got to 5-6 cm with my last, then had to get induced. The contractions up to that point we're just...cute? Little swaying and I got though it just fine. But after the induction meds. I couldn't breathe the pain was so intense, I actually passed out.

My first kids was fast and furious... every 5 min... 22 hrs of labor. This pregnancy I've been in labor for 3 weeks consistently dilating between 5 and 6 cm so far... unfortunately not active, no water breaking, slow lose of mucus plug, lightening croutch. People keep telling me I'm not in labor but just having Braxton hicks but they are productive Braxton hicks. Mine feel like mild cramping in front right abdomen, mild back ache, and stomach tightening for about a minute... several times a day.

@@AripiCalatoarebecause a short time of discomfort is far better than potentially a life time of dealing with aftereffects from surgery, including future pregnancy complications, bowel adhesions, and many other unspoken side effects. C sections are for emergencies or problems, not to get out of having BH contractions and a long labor... And recovery from a natural birth is weeks quicker as well. It's worth that bit of time in labor, it really is!

Everyone’s experience is different. I’ve supported many mamas who would describe their first birth as pain free. Doesn’t make it feeling free. Labor is intense yes but isn’t always painful. It can be and there’s nothing wrong with that either but convincing every mother that labor will be excruciating is dangerous and untrue.

Well, the scripture actually says that women will birth in pain, so i dont know how you assumed that God designed it pain free. Maybe He did but original sin messed it all up. Videos like that upset me because they suggest that if your labor was painful or even traumatic theres something wrong with your mindset and thats not true. My first labor was horrific eventhough i had fantastic mindset and did not fear labor at all. my daughters head was huge and got stuck so they had to use forceps. i cant see how the pain was all in my head. It was simply physical suffering beyond bearable. I tried many tools including TENS and it did not help at all when the pain became 12/10. I appreciate your mission to help women through labor but i dont believe that setting expectation of „painfree labor „ is anywhere close to realistic or helpful to women. Because of that trend many of them feel like a failure when its not an easy ride and that adds to postpartum depression

In the New Testament, Jesus came to redeem us of these curses in the Old Testament. Regardless of beliefs on this topic, I do not believe that you've done something wrong if your birth is painful (that was specifically stated in this video). However, most women walk around believing that they will have an excruciating experience because that is mostly what we hear about and that's not true either. Hopefully, we all can understand that everyone's experience is different. This channel is meant to give you as many tools and empowerment as possible to help you have the best experience you can. Our bodies can NEVER fail us in this experience and anyone who tells a woman that should not be listened to.

@@awerkingmama no Jesus did absolutely not come to redeem us of these curses. he came to forge a new alliance and simplify our ways to go to the King…. these curses still remain. every time a “curse” is lifted or redeemed it is explicitly said in the Bible. like what to eat, the flood, paying tithes etc..
@the.standardabove
@the.standardabove 7 ай бұрын
Women were not put under a curse, a curse means literally damnation. There was a consequence to sin absolutely , and the word “toil” used in Genesis is the same as the consequence for Adam’s toil, work, effort, genuine labor. My mom had experiences you described that make me wince and shudder, for the pain you’ve endured. So there is NO minimizing that, and I’m sure you would have struggles healing from that mentally as well post birth as that’s incredibly heartbreaking. As you are a woman of faith I assume, I’m wondering what your healing process in gaining trust back not only for your body to do its work, but in the Moat High? If you would be open to sharing!! I think we don’t talk about our questions openly enough. When our ELOHIM is loving and kind to accept all of our questions, doubts , hurts and feelings.

Believe what you believe based on your mindset.. point blank .. if you don’t agree with the idea of pain free births, maybe this channel is not for you.. your body, your baby, your birth, your experience, your definition of “pain” .. your opinions but keep this space sacred .. no need to discourage others from wanting to change the narrative for themselves .. have your biases, but keep the discouraging energy to yourself..

The vast majority of women in the world aren't Christian, so this video is not inclusive. Think about including something about Christian in the title so the rest of us can give it a skip

Thanks for sharing your perspective here. This is my belief system and not something I push on anyone. The video has a ton of value for non-believers outside of my personal experience and beliefs. I hope you were able to get some of that from watching 🫶🏽

@@awerkingmamaNon churchgoer here - I really enjoyed your video and found your faith comforting, though it doesn't match my own. It was only a small part of the video, and a personal thought - you weren't preaching.

@@awerkingmama Watch another video if you don’t like it. She obviously is a Christian and she can quote what she wants in her video. If you are so adverse to even hearing another person mention a Christian belief that it makes you want to disregard helpful information like this, than I honestly feel sorry for you. I’m not Muslim, but I’m “inclusive” enough to learn from one.
