@BrackynMor naaa...dont think so. windown and walls insulate in a single layer perfectly. i managed to keep a 25°C greenhouse on vulcan with just passiv cooling like on mars. the only thing comms through windows is radiation(light)...no matter on wich world you build the glashouse, it will heat up over time when the greenhouse is big enough and after a year or so, you could run a furnace with the hot air. in a perfect world you would have a building in a building and vac. in between for high insulation

You can place items on wall kits, but only the front side when completed. But your issue at first was that there were pipes and wires intersecting where you would place the station battery. Then you took out the walls and cleared out the pipes and wires, but then you tried to place on the back of the kits and then on an unfinished upwards facing one. I do it all the time so I don't take up all of my space with frames.

Instead of just losing charge they should make devices use more power in cold environments, that way unused batteries don't just die, but aren't as efficient when they are in use.

It's certainly not something I'm going to try to justify, but to better understand the motivation - I've been preparing for a major upgrade since before the 20 series released and given the nature of making content with games I prioritise this stuff more highly than would be sensible for people in other situations so putting that much aside over the course of a few years maybe makes it a little less ridiculous?
