It took this video to finally trigger how this phase change nonsense works to click in my mind. And it did so with a cat reference. Evaporating liquid is a cat stealing the warms from the surrounding air, condensation is the cat sitting on your face to give the warms back xD

I think the reason why "the graphs are off" is because of the phase change; it's the same reason that boiling water is never 100c. When water goes from liquid to gas it pulls so much energy from the system that the overall temperature drops, so "boiling" water will only ever get to 97 odd c because of the energy transferred in the phase change.

You seem to know what you’re talking about but your plan of demonstrating it needs some work. It’s extremely hard to follow when you have to constantly stop to deal with your various crisis issues. It would be better if you had some kind of prebuilt examples of what you’re wanting to talk about, plan what you’re going to do as far as changing it and see what happens before you press record so you know what to expect. It will make you look and sound even more knowledgeable on your topic.

I appreciate the feedback. For sure I do have that weakness where it is halfway structured (I do have a script). But In trying to keep the length down I tend to deviate a lot and when I glance at the script, I realize I went down a rabbit hole somewhere and now I have to figure out how to get back on track. Also some takes I completely leave out something that I intended to highlight and end up redoing quite a lot. I'll probably add a few more topics and then come back and redo quite a bit of content. Recent updates changes some things and I'd like to incorporate them if possible.

Still can't get it, lower pressure raises temp, higher pressure raises temp

Which device? both? The phase change devices will attempt to manage its internal pressure to make phase changes occur, but they can be stalled and may not seem to work correctly. Evaporation chambers will release excess gas pressure (like a back pressure regulator). If the contents are hot, then liquids will evaporate in an attempt to get the pressure needed to keep liquids from evaporating, this will start to cool the contents inside. Condensation chambers will take in gas to reach the pressure threshold on its setting. In so doing, chances are that the gas inside will condense because the pressure exceeds the point where condensation occurs. This will cause some liquids to form as well as warm up the interior. In either case, you want to make sure that phase change can occur and is occurring. If the evaporation chamber is cold that the liquids will not evaporate, then evaporation will not happen to cool further. If the condensation chamber is too hot, then the gases could exceed the point of condensation and will not condense. A good troublehooting method is to see if your liquids are evaporating in the evaporation chamber or to see if gases are condensing in the condensation chamber. If that is not happening, you may need to check to see what the temp and pressure is compared to the phase change diagram of the gas/liquid. You may need to connect an appropriate temp gas at the heat exchange connection to warm or cool the chamber.
