I don't think it makes much difference. However, converting to decimals gives the graph simplicity and clarity. On the other hand, leaving it in the hh:mm:ss format conveys more information.

Where do the d3 and d4 numbers come from? How are they derived? I was thinking of simply using the critical values of a 2-tailed hypothesis test with a certain p value
