This material was so useful for me. My professor talks a different language, I understand nothing in class. Thank you Brandon for taking the time to make this material available on youtube.

Yeah same. My stats professors explain all these methods sooo weird that barely anyone knows what the lecture was about after class... we are basically obliged to watch series like these to actually understand how and when to use a particular method and how to do the calculations.

Why this video seems to work for AI/DL stuff is because he goes backwards. To learn/train, we need to start from the output and get at the model. Other videos go forward from data to output. I predict this is 70% accurate :)

THANKS is not enough.. i should say more than that, I started my day with logistic regression, planned to complete in 2 to 3 hours.. i had gone through lot of stuff which lead to confusion between logit and sigmoid function..... felt bad and sad, that i couldn't make it, then your stuff came, it is SAVIOUR.. You explained very clearly, detailed every thing in simpler manner. I ended my day with SMILE with your stuff.. APPRECIATE.. APPRECIATE.. APPRECIATE... Expecting stuff on Machine Learning Algorithms too.

It is clear that under 500 FICO score, the probabilities of geting an approve are zero. therefor this data should be eliminated from the data pool. I know this is an exemple, but things like that should be mentioned and referred. As the goal is to obtain a better review of the reality. other than that, I learned the hole course from you, what they fail to teach me in engineering school. your method is clear and direct. thanks a lot!!

Thank you so much for this video! I'm loving all the videos you have! One thing that could maybe make it better is having access to the datasets used in the videos so that we can follow along on our own software (R, Stata, SAS, etc) and compare how our outputs look and so we know what we're seeing on our output by comparing it to the ones in the videos. Once again, thank you so much for the time and effort you put into these videos!

I don't think your data being normally distributed is a requirement for linear regression. Some users think (erroneously) that the normal distribution assumption of linear regression applies to their data. They might plot their response variable as a histogram and examine whether it differs from a normal distribution. Others assume that the explanatory variable must be normally-distributed. Neither is required. The normality assumption relates to the distributions of the residuals. This is assumed to be normally distributed, and the regression line is fitted to the data such that the mean of the residuals is zero.
