I am an adult, well along in my years now, and I am very glad to see that Mr. Folz takes a few moments at the beginning of his lesson to help young students deal with their very natural frustrations, arising from dealing with a complex subject, under pressure to pass and get good grades. It is hard to learn ANYTHING when you are already deep down in a well of emotional suffering and see no way out. That can be a very lonely feeling. So glad to see the instructor giving some words of encouragement. Well done on that approach and on a wonderful instructional video! Thank you!

+Chrisitina Kinerk you are spot on. My textbook is not only in a language of formulas that I do not speak but it has typos and math errors that my on line instructor keeps apologizing for. And he talks in formulas that aren't in the book. Brandon is like the best private tutor ever.

+Chrisitina Kinerk I feel you. Brandons videos are top-notch; a lot of stat teachers can learn tons from him. Just one thing. IF you want to keep working in the stats area, trying to understand the weird looking formulas is very helpful. It takes time to crack them down but once you manage it's quite useful.

The way Brandon Foltz introduces, motivates and teachs it's worth much respect and greafulness. Do I exagerate? Not at all: the introduction is moving, and the content is top level. I can say, I have a MSc in Economics thus I am non complete novice to statistiscs, that this is an excellent top way to spread science and knowlwdge for all the people who are willing to learn. Thank You Sir, I wish I could do something like you, obsviously on a smaller scale, for my children, my frieeds and my collegues.

I guess, the student community and returning professionals like me, owe you a BIG THANK YOU for making statistics so easy to digest and easy to refresh. It would also be great if at the end of each lesson, you can refer to a real life worked example (perhaps an uploaded spreadsheet) to explain the application of the concept in real life. An F-ratio is a ratio of two variances. In the case of ANOVA, we compare factor variances to the error variance in an F-ratio. The higher the ratio, the higher the F-value, and the more likely a difference exists between the means. Hope that helps! - B
