actually you are talking about 3rd grade rice ( broken and low quality) that you import from india at very cheap price ,which we give poor people free of cost for last four year. our main produce is basmati rice which we export to gulf and europe which fetch us four time the price of rice that you know and eat.

We import mostly American, but produced for Japan and Japanese residents, restaurants in US. Anyway, it is impossible to buy the imported rice at the ordinary supermarkets, stores, unless we have severe shortage. Last year was so, i bought a bag of American CalRose, $20 for 5 Kg.

The UK may have some rice in oversees terrotories in the caribian. It is still odd to find Germany in the list a few times - no overseas island here. Also Belgium and Netherlands are also not suitable for rice. So chances are they include rexports, or just a poos data source.

Drinking water supply is totally free whole year. Foods and Vegetables are so cheap in India. Medicines and treatments are free in India in all govt hospitals whole year. Even many states gives subsidized electricity to citizens. Few states gives free electricity to low level income people. For example upto 200 units electricity is free in many states. India provided free corona vaccines to all 1.4b citizens and even supplied to many other countries free of cost. Education is free in all govt schools and colleges. And India provides mid-day meal daily to all students in govt schools of whole India. In many states, travelling in buses are free for women. So next time, don't say anything negative about India without knowing anything.
