This will be very good against high lat players with bleed. You take the bleed proc mid roll for no damage and then the next bleed proc will take double the hits and ghost hits to proc.

for everyone saying Lake of Rot is easy now... it already was if you rolled into the lake and imediately got out of it and let the status proc outside of the Lake, it proc's a weaker version (roughly half the damage) of Rot for the same time, allowing you to easily deal with it...

The other good method is getting Flame, Cleanse Me, along with the two fingers talisman to give you enough faith to cast it (both easily available in Liurnia)

I think the issue with this tali is that you have to eat a proc first. For example, getting slept/madness once could be disastrous. It does help against bleed/poison/rot, though poison rot are easily bolased, the best-use case is against bleed, especially if you can force a phantom proc.

So seppuku now can buff your bleed resist on command while also buffing your bleed output(seppuku displays the bleed text when stabbing urself so I would assume it is hard coded as a bleed proc)

When I found this I knew it was immediately going in my hardswap rotation. It’s on slot 1, two r2 presses down from my shard. 1 down is the crimson seed row, obviously.

Ok yeah, that's a lot stronger than the description alone implies. I thought the boost would last for as long as you had the talisman on or until you had a different ailment proc. I guess they reused the same effect that the exaltation talismans use to make this.

So it's a little niche, but stellar at it. You'll often want a normal resistance talisman to protect you from the first proc, but this one can be much better for certain situations (and they stack!) And by the way, I think poison is 2 minutes because of the long term nature of the status, in oposition to bleed's or madness' instant application. If you get poisoned and it lasted 1 minute, then the resistance would be completely useless for anyone who doesn't cure the poison, since it'd be gone by the time the poison ended, but this way you'd still get 30 seconds of the buff.

It’s funny how the order of strongest effects have the shortest immunity effects and the weakest is the longest. I feel like poison cross the board for both PvP and PvE is at its weakest point now. The dlc bosses have a huge hp pool making the poison DOT effect much less useful in comparison to bleed.

The Dragon Breath still does normal damage. It just (probably) won't proc the Scarlet Rot.

Basically bleed on latency is dead. Frost is going to be fine because Frost weapons either deal infinite frost buildup with the cold infusion + Chilling Mist or extremely high damage like Steeple. Rot is dead too because you just shit pot yourself before the duel and done. This is a good thing.

I have two questions that you might answer a bit later in the video but still feel like I want to ask them just for a very clear and concise 100% answer to these two questions being firstly, how long does the buff last? Depending on this one it could be super amazing even if it only lasted for like 3 minutes let alone lasting for either more time or perhaps endlessly until your next time where you get that talisman to proc and secondly, does getting it for a different effect like say getting hit with sleep or bleed change the buff from immunity to robustness or focus 4 desert perhaps even actually stack if it's a timed duration meaning each one lasts for 3 minutes but if you get hit with bleed in those three minutes then you also get the Boost to that other stat?

I also realized one last question I had as well being the question of if this Talisman actually Stacks with its own buff so if for example, someone were to hit you with poison and then you got the initial 350 boost and then someone hit you either with poison again or rot 700 bonus immunity or no? This one is heavily based on the prior questions as well I guess as if it is a time to duration that runs out after a certain amount of time but it's technically not as terribly strong since it's not like the anyone's going to be able to hit you with another poison proc in that time for you to get the massive buff and I guess to some degree becomes less powerful and at the same time if all prior Buffs you had gained disappear and get replaced with whatever the newest buff is, that also means even if you did get that ridiculously high immunity, someone planning their bills around having multiple different status effects could easily copy with bleed and then switch back to poison and then switch back to bleed and so on and so forth

as if seppuku wasn’t busted enough. Now with mask and blood exaltation you get 30% damage bonus, bleed buildup bonus and 200% of bleed and frost immunity all at the same time. And you don’t even have to keep the talisman on so there is basically a free talisman slot shit is gonna be so busted it gonna have an emergency nerf real soon

i think this is good to have for pvp, it means people cant spam sleep on you/ abuse tf out of rot and poison, so good work on from softs part it blances out some of the more broken builds.
