Well Michael Eric Dyson is a scumbag and a race pimp.. So you must be a good person.. He isn't even black - he is a grifter. And he creeps on Nancy Mace while being married.. Such a great guy. Lives white - acts black. I'm darker than this racist dick, and I'm not black. Fuck this guy.. EEeeerbody.. If you fall for this you deserve what you get..

David Jones I can perfectly understand what he is saying. Problem is that Americans are stupid because of public schools. I'll tell you something. I read that when Abraham Linchon spoke to a crowd, he spoke at a 12th grade level. Even tough most people in the crowd never did formal schooling, and there was a war, they were well read and could easily understand him. During 2000, Al Gore gave his speeches at an 8th grade level. George W at a 7th grade level. what does that say about the quality of public education?
@LoveFoundation10010 жыл бұрын
fearhungerpride I went to public schools from kindergarten to 12 grade and graduated in the top 10 in my class... I got a good education....folks with public education have went on to do great things... so public schools are not the problem. Education is not the issue either we got alot of educated folks running around but our issues as a people have not really been changed and have not been properly addressed. Dyson has good intent but I believe he speaks with a main goal of impressing people with his vocabulary & smooth speaking style. It is like he is trying to entertain more than enlighten folks. He uses enticing words of man's wisdom trying to dazzle people with his eloquent speaking. When someone speaks and is real it touches your heart...heartfelt speaking fills our imagination to believe what is right and this in turn changes our actions of how we live.
@fearhungerpride10 жыл бұрын
David Jones I get that you believe that you got a good education at a public school, but that is not the point. Dysons is pretty clear with his points. The problem is that the average American who goes to a public school would not be able to understand what he is saying because they are on average dumber than they were 150 years ago. America has some of the lowest education scores in the developed world. Read the book "Overschooled but Undereducated" for evidence of that. The problem is education. You mentioned that you finished top 10 in your school. Good for you, but what would you rather be, top 10 in one of the worst schools in the world, or middle of the pack in one of the worlds best?

***** Look at his discussion/debate about hip hop with Boyce Watkins. One of the best things I've ever seen but that level of vocabulary will surely miss the bulk of today's hip hop audience so the potency is truly lost in the sauce. Fortunately I was born to a mother who'd slap the taste out of your mouth for even pronouncing a word wrong, much less using improper grammar. I thank her every day.

I applaud Dr. Dyson's articulate presentation. BUT did that speech change the stereo typing towards Black men and women ? Was he preaching to the choir ? I agreed with everything he said. BUT what did it profit ? Well maybe the goal was to awaken the foot soldiers to action. I am a foot soldier I am a elementary school teacher. I am ignited to teach my children to stand strong in their Blackness and their competence.BUT I believe in that same speech he needed to chastise young people for Tryavonning and raising the stock in Arizona Tea and Skittles. Skittles even put out a new brand called the DARK SIDE. WE WILL NEVER GET THE RESPECT WE DESERVE UNTIL WE PULL OUR RESOURCES TOGETHER AND STOP GIVING OUR MONEY TO PEOPLE WHO MOCK OUR TRAGEDY. So much work to be done. Speak on Dr. Dyson. BUT please call the foot soldiers to take immediate action,

0.Oppressive b.s.? What is oppressive? What is oppressive to me is that EVERY TIME a Black person speaks out about ANYTHING he/she is verbally attacked and or demeaned. The idea here is that it is ALWAYS wrong for Black people in particular and minorities in general to ever voice a complaint. Yetthe same folks who are so upset about us speaking out COMPLAIN BITTERLY THEMSELVES and are QUICKER to play victim than anyone else in America. Illegal immigration makes them victims. If a Black person complains about being unfairly SHOT by police OR even just "neighborhood watch" then THE WHITE PERSON is the victim. Black people object to being called n---ers the white people are victims there too. If a Black person speaks against racism then THEY are the racist and WHITES are the victims. If Blacks riot you complain. Blacks protest peacefully you complain. Football player takes a knee you complain. Blacks boycott you complain. EVERY METHOD of speaking out against injustice is regarded by you as unfair, oppressive, reverse racism etc. IT'S A JOKE! NOWADAYS YOU RACISTS SEEM TO HAVE MISPLACED YOUR TESTICLES! You're too cowardly to just come out and SAY that you hate us. You might as well. You're not fooling anybody anyway. And Trump has your back. So just BE HONEST and admit that you don't like Black people.

Dyson has always done a disservice to his message, by his blazing speed of delivery. Race in America is a touchy subject for whites,because they believe we are suppose to move on and not talk about it;if an issue is not addressed it will continue to plaque everything.jewish people were systematically oppressed and now they own damn near everything,blacks are psychologically damaged because of poor leadership and less father's at home period,raise your kids right and be a great example for them,the problem is (manufactured ignorance) in the black community,talk about the real issue dyson missed a lot of points.
