It's Status Quo in 2024. That's really all there is to it. Every band evolves if it sticks around long enough. It's a game of opinions as to whether you like Status Quo in 2024 or not. But it is Status Quo, those are the facts. The only irreplaceable member of the band, in my view, is Francis Rossi. As lead vocalist, lead song-writer and lead guitarist, no Quo song would sound the same without his vocal or solo, played by him. But it's a game of opinions isn't it, that just happens to be mine. I'm looking forward to seeing them perform next week.

It’s Quo in their current incarnation, bands evolve, and that’s all that’s happened with Quo, it’s still Quo and always will be. Technically you could argue any video since the departure of Coglan “isn’t Quo” but the reality is that whilst Rossi is the only original, this line up is closing in on ten years together, Andy has been with the band for yonks, Rhino since the mid 80s, and whilst Leon and Richie are ‘newer’ additions the band are still Quo in my eyes, we just have to accept they evolve.

saw them at Knebworth in ' 90 and they were entertaining with Rick , but lot of these bands sound empty , the vocals are gone , that goes for Mick , Bruce , Bono and the list goes on , I've seen them all when they were great but now it's a gravy train . Best to enjoy the memories at home.

@@Telecaster4959 You have problems... The FF were playing until 1981. Look at their concertstatistiks. How many gigs they were playing after 1986 only in England? Wembley arena for example. There are so many bands worldwide with only one founder member. Sometimes I think that SQ should be the onliest band in the world, who should play together with the same members until they stop one day and that for more than 50 years.. For all respect, people.. Use your brain before you wrote about your Quo dream world. ACDC and The Stones were losing one band after 7 years..

@@jamesharte5882 Thanks. I am German. In June and July they will play 15 open air gigs here. One of it is sold out since weeks. Wolfsburg with 9000 tickets. It's for the half price. ZZ Top are playing week's later for the same price. Sold out too. Unfortunately no encore gig there.
