Love Status Quo. Possibly the best band ever! They've been part of life since '83 when I was 6-7 years old and my dad introduced me to them. Possibly my favorite band of all time :)

Parfitt was my favourite. Loved how he always gave 100%. He’s more articulate and engaging than Rossi. Quo isn’t Quo without him and I won’t see them again. Thanks Rick for the entertainment and the fun over the years.

6:08 Interviewer mentions they "have been in each others pockets".. Mr Rossi looks down at Mr Parfitt's pocket.. totally my kind of humour.. All my life and always will be.. Never get too serious in life.. Stalwart R n R legends that are destined to leave a great legacy for all future generations to enjoy.. I am amazed Andy Bown doesn't want or get more recognition.. Having been there since the early days too.. Messrs Rossi and Parfitt are obviously naturals at what they do and are also very happy in their own skin.. Rarely (if ever?) disappointing fans by way of cancellations for concerts for example.... They are very aware of their public image being able to laugh at themselves and use lyrics in their songs such as "old men in boys clothes has gone beyond a joke" "skin me another and pass along the whisky and the coke".. from the song Rockers Rollin' Jack Lynton/Rick Parfitt Rockin' All Over the World album.. Very down to earth....extremely talented multi millionaires ..Unlike P Jones fame for example... due to money only.. Snotty nosed snob and pretentious with it like all his kind.. See the difference?

Here's a thought. Pick a book, magazine, paper or wording in an online comment and read just one medium sized paragraph.. When you have read it and think you can remember all the words in the right order.... turn it over or look away so you can't see what you just read..NO CHEATING!!.. Now try to recite it word for word?.. I bet you can't do it right away.. Quo not only know all the words to all their songs on all their albums but the music and chords too and they deliver it with humour.. I don't think that performing gets much better than that.. They make the extremely difficult look easy and they do it with class and style.. Very polished performance indeed..

Rossi thinks that he is more important than everyone and everything. The fact that Rossi wears white socks all the time is proof that he isn't. It's very sad that Rossi doesn't understand what STATUS QUO means to everyone else. Imagine if you had one of your children abducted and you never saw them again, well that's how ALAN LANCASTER felt. There are certain albums and horrible songs that should've been released as THE ROSSI / FROST BAND. Rossi should've had the decency and dignity to say " these songs don't represent the essence of QUO and our supporters " We'll set a benchmark criteria of what stipulates the QUO IMAGE and not release anything that falls below that level. Peace, love and respect to Alan, Rick and John, The Frantic 3, Roy Lynes, Andy Bown, Bob Young etc........
@glenchapman3899 Жыл бұрын
No Rossi has always been about the money first second and third. The other problem they had (as a band) they were all dealing with their own demons, and everyone stopped caring about everyone else.
