Hii,Thanks for the video Can uh help me with the advice over my situation My first preference is very much Internal audit and then stat audit I have got offer from one of the big 4 for stat with gud package into stat audit Whereas I am finding it difficult to crack Internal audit in big 4 , but got an offer from upper mid size firm which is fully into Internal audit but is paying very much less. So should I start with less pay into internal audit..or start with big 4 statutory audit and then switch if not interesting me

Hi Pratika.. Had I been your situation I would have joined Big 4 stat audit.. The reason why I am saying this is because when it comes to Internal Audit the quality of work of a Big 4 is far better than the upper mid size firm so there is a huge gap in learning and presentation. Also you get an opportunity to work in Data visualisation and analytical tools like Alteryx, SQL etc which might not happen in mid size firms. However if the upper mid size firms are like Protiviti, GT, BDO then u can surely go for them. The reason you are not able to crack internal audit interviews is because you don't have much experience in the same. I will suggest you to have a look at the Basics of Auditing Playlist and watch Procure to Pay and Hire to Retire videos. So what you can do is start with Stat in Big 4 gain some experience of the same and 6 months after you may ask for an internal transfer if you are not enjoying the same. By that time you will also get some idea of what internal auditors do by referring to their reports, understanding of processes of organisation and ERP software.

@@auditpractically Hey ...Thankyou for the great advice.Ya I have went through the videos for internal audit,the only problem is not having practical experience of big 4s audit.Considering your view point I have took the same decision 💯Thanks once again..Keep growing 😀
