Man they’re speaking with so much confidence about what it’s like in the south. I love these three people but this is sort of that stereotypical way of thinking associated with people from big coastal cities. That sort of condescending, smug attitude about how things are in “secondary America.” And I know by making this comment I seem more upset than I actually am, but I just hate knowing that people I respect like these three would bring so much baggage to meeting me. I’m from Dallas and I still have friends from New York who say “oh not Dallas, I mean like a REAL city.” Anyway…that’s all.
