As a widow I need “rent-a-husband” to not get screwed over by every mechanic, landscaper, handyman etc. Had the same feeling as Kate when recently the ac was replaced, immediate instinct of bad bad bad person; the dude that had to come inside to program the thermostat I caught poking around in a room he had no biz in, and tried to pretend he was t when I saw him! Gaslighting. A week later two of them showed up again for no legit reason and totally were casing and taking photos “slyly”, pretended they got the schedule mixed up. Not two weeks later some guy literally tried to walk in my back door , I just about tripped over him. Not homeless or crazy guy; clean cut, had no excuse when I bumped into him. Then as he retreated I saw the car he was in- it was the exact same car with the same ugly stupid red rims that pulled up when the workers returned “mistakenly mixed up our schedule” after the job had been finished. This guy must’ve been driving them that day and waited a couple weeks and tried to come back and do something. I made a police report and reported everything to the biz. Anyways sorry I know Stavvy Enterprises is not actually therapy 😂 just an example of how rent a spouse would be a great biz venture. The protection and security is def one of the million things I miss about my husband.
