Dude I have the same type of retainer for my two middle bottom teeth. I had a gnarly infection in my jaw where it meets your bottom teeth and if I want to get implants it's gonna be 9k€, so I'm gonna have the stupid thing for a long time haha. Luckily, I had been with my girl for seven years when I had the procedure done, and she couldn't care less about me missing the two teeth. Best of luck with your situation with the implants!!
