About the piece:
'Stay Alive For Me' is a marimba duet scored for two 4.3 Octave Marimbas (4.6 Optional). I wrote this piece originally as a solo in 2016, in fact my first attempt at writing a Marimba Solo. I never ended up publishing it until 2018, when I decided to revisit it and expand it to be played as a duet.

the complexity of this is absolutely fantastic. somehow you were able to keep it simple but incorporate just the right amount of intricacies. this is something that so many people struggle with, but you just executed it perfectly. the fact that you're able to create something of this caliber at your age will never cease to amaze me!

After buying this stunning piece sometime about a year ago, and never fully learning it until only around a month ago. I can say with full certainty that this is a piece of the highest quality and work, it is much harder than it looks, and not just with technique and grip, but expressiveness, the skill of the MUSICian. I absolutely love this, and I hope to always remember it and have it in my arsenal of tear jerking pieces. It’s been three years since this was released and I still have yet to see a better marimba composition. This dude wrote this when he was 17/18. It blows my mind that someone as young as Arnor can write something this beautiful.
