Hello Adam, I am a 6th grade student and I have been very intrigued by your videos but I was wondering how long do your vic firth mallets last or any kind of mallet in particular last if used daily by you. Hope you respond and I love your music! P.S my dog Thor enjoys your music as well and he falls asleep and occasionally dance to your music.

Hey Adam, love the music and videos, really cool to see a lot more people in to tuned percussion 👍😊 Any chance you could play this piece on a 4.3 Octave Marimba (and Vibraphone of course)? Thanks in advance 🤗

Hey Adam!, My name is Jeremy Jacobus. I've previously commented on the piece you wrote "we are heroes". My section leader wants to play the vibraphone part and asked me to play marimba. I am beyond excited to start practicing another one of your pieces. Any tips or things to think about for starting to work on this piece? Thank you for posting such amazing content and composing these amazing works!

Hi! I'm 16 y.o , i'm percussionist for 10 years now and i've played with 4 mallet since 2015 , my level is not ... Good enough ! what do you advise me to work on the technique ? I want to play like you haha !!!
@legoreemv5 жыл бұрын
Try to improve mallet independence. Try to move one mallet while focusing on keeping the other mallet in the same hand still. It can help to hold the head of one mallet in the other hand to keep it locked in one spot in space. This can help get you used to what it feels like to move the mallets correctly. Slowly start to let go of the still mallet, focusing on it to make sure it stays still. Try with both hands and eventually start to alternate (between mallets 1 & 2 and between mallets 3 & 4.) Try this exercise with all intervals.
