This trucktalk is 100%. As a former USAF aviator that went through SEER training 30 years ago I'm ashamed to say that I am that complacent, lazy , turd that sat on my ass for the last 15 years. But, you guys at 3of7 motivated me to start morning PT and get my act together. I'm down to 260 lbs from 325 and been regularly training with my firearm. I feel that I have a responsibility to my community to be physically and mentally ready to handle any threats due to my training background. It's never too late to turn it around, I'm 57 btw. I’m a woman who was mugged when I was younger. I’ll never forget the stunned, helpless feeling. The disbelief and inability to even scream.. Ever since that time I have a heightened sense of my surroundings. If I am ever in a parking lot, garage, I walk to my car and as I’m walking I make a couple of 360 degree turnarounds to make sure I am not being followed and carry mace with me in hand (not going to do a bit of good if left in the car or in the purse). My only regret is that I don’t have a license to carry a firearm. I am grateful for your “truck talk” videos and before the end of this year I hope to complete a training course and arm myself. I believe everything this gentleman is telling us. I will never be a victim again. I hope any other ladies watching really take his advice. ❤

100% correct!! I've told folks for years that a sidearm is something you use to get to your rifle. I have a "kit" and my rifle along WITH my sidearm. My state, AL. allows open carry or concealed carry w/o having to have a permit. But I get one anyway in case I travel, know the laws in the states you plan to visit. Carry a sidearm, rifle.4 extra mags, first aid, a little water and water filtration kit. Save empty plastic water bottle b/c you can boil water above a fire using plastic bottle full of "water" to purify etc.. it sounds impossible but doable. Look that up check me. Nylon trauma blanket, small compass. Reading glasses and a BIBLE.

Undoubtedly he knows most aren't as well trained as he is. That's not the point. The point is to be as well prepared as you can be. That means buying the best gear and training you can. This won't be the same for everyone. For some it will mean an SKS, for others a decked at LaRue. It doesn't matter where you fit in, train, train train. Take a pistol class, a rifle class, a first aid class, etc. Not only will you be prepared, but you'll be in better shape mentally and physically.

Or push away while they're begging for safety behind us. The unprepared ones are really quite a liability when you think about it. Have an action plan for them too, particularly if you live directly among their population.
