Stay at home concert #1

This was the first edition of my Home concert series. This liveset was prepared for a gig in Tübingen. It was cancelled a day before and you all know the rest of the story. All sounds: Elektron Digitone, Analog Rytm, Analog Four, Octatrack, DSI Rev2.

I watch this (first) one now, after numbers 20 and up. And I see a mellowness. Where you began real techno...you gave a more ambient picture later on. A nice evolution...thank you so much...

Thank you! When I made the first shows I had no real plan. The first editions were shows that I planned to play somewhere and got cancelled. Like this one which I prepared for a set in Erlangen (south Germany). Since I have no chance to play techno music in a club anytime soon my interest in this kind of music faded more and more. Ambient was always the music that is most important to me and I am happy to focus my attention to it now.

The only way i can explain why you’ve help me improve at my musical craft is through a metaphor: Most often when I watch someone make electronic music it’s like finding an alien text - no matter how much I study It, it’s difficult to connect with it. Watching your process and listening to your music, is like finding a lost book of knowledge written in my own native tongue. 🙂
