Love this! My husband and I just went through and cleaned out several closet spaces that we have that were full of nothing but junk. Will start using them for water storage and canned goods! We also utilize under our bed with a wide/low plastic container with all of our Mylar foods, as well as a bunch of re-used juice bottles filled with water for the toilet/washing if there’s an outage!

@@phdpursuinghigherdimensions it’s such a good idea! We lose power often during the winter and spring time stormy seasons so having that back up really helps and you don’t have to go out and spend extra money!

@@Sierrabbyx 😂 we get a lot of snow here, high desert. Last winter it was so cold and snow covered, street pipes froze and we had a leak. I was out of water for 10 days total (within 2 weeks) as the water went on and off to find and fix leaks. I was running outside scooping buckets of snow & melting it in pots in front of my space heater and on the stove, just to flush and wash dishes! 😂 As the days progressed, I realized I could only use it for toilet because the wind was blowing sticks, leaves and bird feathers 🪶 into what I was retrieving. I save any container that can hold water now but learned things like boxed broth or milk cannot go under the house as the mice want in on that action. I have a stack of water filled broth boxes adorning my tiny house bathroom, wherever they fit. 😂

Organised. My place is chaos. I've been perusing the interweb for health tips as well as prepping. I've been really ill 🤒 😷 🤧 cough cough, but it's gradually getting better. 2 years is a long time though. Anyway, I have just started filtering my water 💧 and I can taste the difference immediately . It makes drinks taste better, too . I have also been looking into storage outside of my house for my family and I to use. Weirdly you mentioned getting somewhere to do so. Got rainwater harvesting and filtration done ✔️ water and food stored ✔️ means of producing electricity ✔️ and means of protection ✔️ 👍. God bless you and YOUR United States 🇺🇸 🇺🇲 🙏 ❤️

I’ve been thinking of keeping some extra preps at my parents house. They know that if there’s a bug out situation, they are to head to my place but I’ve had to go to their place before. When the Texas power outage happened in 2021, I had to go to their place as they had power but I didn’t.

Hi Tory👋👋👋 This is what I want to do in one of my spare bedrooms, I live alone in a four bedroom house and I want to transform an upstairs spare room into a pantry and put up shelving to store my extra stock of foods, it’s so much more manageable and out of sight which is a major plus for me👍👍👍 This home has no pantry in the kitchen area and 75% of my cabinets are overhead and unattainable by me🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s ridiculous. Anyhoo, great haul and setup, TYFS and have a blessed night and week ahead my sweet friend, take good care🙏♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️🙏

Camp stoves and those small bottles of propane are such a great thing to have. When Houston froze over a few years ago and we had no power for 3 days our camp stove saved our butts.

We all know that SHTF moments are coming this year. But its okay because if you are here, you are preparing to hunker down or load/leave. I have a wheelchair son so this property outside of Indianapolis is our hunker down location. We have 4 families planning on coming to us. Praying for us all

this is currently my biggest prep, growing hebs, buying books on medicinal usage of herbs and especially herbal antibiotics. I buy herbs on line, organic non GMO and im trying to learn also about mushrooms.
