Mount needs to be kept at all costs. I would try to see if Chelsea could still get a fee for Cucurella and keep Maatsen as a back up for Chilly. Havertz has so much potential and I think isn't being utilised correctly so I'd keep him as well. It's a horrible situation the club is in right now, so difficult to make any sense of who to keep, how to play and who to bring in.

Felix offers nothing really he dribbles just to shoot himself, but then hes not a good shooter. And passing wise theres no creativity, last i checked he was at a 6% conversion rate(i think avg is around 20) and he had 0.9 xA total from 13 matches.

However, the numbers on this loan are just horrendous. The fee paid for the actual return (G+A) is a joke. Regardless, knowing Poch will likely play 4-2-3-1, AND provided we sign a #9, I'd try to keep Felix over Havertz. Mount should be the first priority here, but if he ends up going, and we are left with Kai and Felix to choose from.. It has got to be Felix. i agree. when he was at palace he showed fans exactly what he can do. not only was he an attacking threat, but could also defend. his energy alone was enough to give palace 3 points. but when he came back to chelsea, his style of play didnt fit the team. chelsea like to play slow and find passes to the wingers, which meant that the midfield was sometimes nullified out by this style. however, i do feel like poch knows exactly how to get the best out of him - just allow him space and freedom to roam around the park. i reckon if he stays at the club, he could lead chelsea to many titles.

I think we keep both Havertz and Mount. I see mount playing the Eriksen role and Havertz as the Deli role (and honestly they could probably play either). If I could only keep one, I would keep Mount. he's homegrown, the fans love him and I think he would be an ideal player for Poch to work with. I also see us keeping Santos if his work visa gets approved. I think him and Enzo alongside each other would be *chefs kiss* for a double pivot Poch midfield (also keeping in mind that we might sign Lavia and potentially Rice if the price is right).

I'd sell Kovacic and keep RLC, RLC has a similar playing profile but is cheaper and Kovacic would raise more money. I think the opportunity cost of selling Kovacic outweighs the drop in quality (which isn't that big, mind). I'd also keep both Gallagher and Mount at all costs, sell Sterling if possible, definitely sell Havertz- very expensive and offers literally nothing.

I would keep Chalobah over Koulibaly as back up RCB if possible, 5 CBs for 2 spots is needed because Fofana and Silva have had injury problems. If Chelsea could sell Cucurella for over 25m then I would sell him and keep Maatsen. Keep RLC as a versatile squad player and loan Carney. Carney needs game time, not to be 4th choice. Ideally, keep both Mount and Havertz but if one was be sold, for me it would be Mount over Havertz. Havertz is better as a SS or on the right. If Poch likes Lukaku, I would keep him and have a younger striker ready to fill the role 1/2 seasons. Spot on with Felix. So much money for someone that didn't even prove he's worth the 100m he cost Atletico. As an Atletico Madrid fan, I had no idea why Chelsea wanted Felix. He's supposed to be a striker, but he barely offers anything going forward. He's played 131 games for us and scored 34 goals and has 18 assists playing as a second striker and centre forward. I’ve cut down a squad but still missing many areas, Kepa, mendy, bettinelli - can very easily c one of kepa or mendy leaving and brining in a first choice James, fofana, badiashile, chilwell, gusto, cucurella, maatsen, silva, koulibaly, colwill - loads of quality defenders, even tho only signed a year ago could see cucurella and koulibaly both leaving potentially. Enzo, Kante, kovacic, santos, mount, Chukwuemeka. Kovacic may also leave, mount has to be sold if he doesn’t sign a new contract but would be a massive blow, I think another cdm is still much needed. Madueke, mudryk, Nkunku, havertz, Sterling. I’m not convinced about Sterling and he could also leave after a season but still think maybe another winger is needed This leaves a 24 man squad and obviously need to bring in a st to make that 25 That means a long list of out goings which may be unrealistic but here they are: Aubamyang Pulisic Felix Rlc Chalobah Broja on loan Zakaria Ziyech Gallagher Fofana on loan Azpilicueta Plus basically everyone on loan the likes of Lukaku Hudson-odoi Ampadu Bakayoko Sarr Etc

Disagree with selling Mount and letting Kante's contract expire. Mount is a lot more versatile than Havertz as the latter is just a 10. Mount can play the 8, LW and the 10 while giving you 90mins of press. Resigning Kante to a squad friendly contract that incentivices playing time is the way to go. Even if he plays only 20/38 matches, it would still be considered a win since that's the bulk of big matches where he shines. Couple that with a base salary of, lets say $150k p/week and it makes sense. Also Felix' loan is nowhere the worst.

It has nothing to do with how he's played, though even on that front he hasn't really delivered making the signing even worse. But even if he had been brilliant, what did Chelsea have to gain by spending 10 million on him for 6 months when they were already out of contention for top 4? That meant the only way they would've made their money back on his signing was if he'd somehow helped Chelsea win the Champions League. But he didn't, so his signing was an unmitigated failure.

Kante just rested an entire season to address his nigling injuries and he looks solid so far despite our form he's clearly been our best player since he returned. It's not his fault Lampard has been playing him as a winger. He should stay 2 more seasons.

Lukaku needs to stay. A front 4 (in a 4-2-3-1) of Mudryk, Nkunku, Sterling and Lukaku could work very well. I would keep Kante and RLC for midfield options and also sign Caicedo and another midfielder. So with Lukaku, Nkunku and Malo Gusto joining, Chelsea only need to sign a midfielder and maybe a goalkeeper.

I’d keep Kante and most likely Kova will be out. We need a CDM like Rice for Enzo having more attacking space and stop using him as a “Jorginho”, which even though he does it well, he has a better role as an attacking midfielder and he has demonstrated that in Benfica, River and Argentina. I definitely wouldn’t keep Lukaku and look for a striker in the window, as well as a GK for Kepa having some competition for that role.

Swap Mount and Kova around, keep Gallagher and Chalobah (he's a versatile defensive player) for one more season. Give Romelu a season under Poch if it doesnt work then cut the losses, yeah one more keeper needed and if your only gunna keep 3 wingers then bring one more in. I'd also swap around Chukwuemeka and Santos, The Santos kid looks ready made at 18 and under Poch would thrive so well. Overall though agree with the calls on Kante and such but an unlikely sell, maybe look at using him as bait for a swap for another CM or Winger.

I agree with almost everything Joe said except keeping Kai over Mount and Cucurella over Maatsen change theses and I believe it benefits Chelsea massively especially with the players ego...... Plus right now it would be devasting to throw Borja in the deep end as your #1 striker I think keeping Lukaku helps him learn from a veteran and comes in and get goals especially with the creative genius of Mount and Nkunku would brings together I would love seeing that at Chelsea....... Havertz should go! He blows hot and cold and misses too many chances. Keep Mount; he can pop them in, and that's what Chelsea needs more than anything. You're gonna think I'm crazy, but I think Silva's too old and we should keep Koulibaly instead. I know Silva's a leader, he's brilliant, but letting go of Koulibaly, who hasn't really been given a proper chance to show his real worth because of Silva's presence, would be a mistake. Koulibaly would flourish under Poch and bring out the incredible form he produced at Napoli.

There is no world in which you get rid of Mount to keep Havertz, Havertz has done nothing at the club for all the time he's been there. Sure he scored that goal in UEFA, but that was all of the back of Mounts pass and he still nearly fkd it up. Havertz isn't good enough for a top 8 prem side, let alone Chelsea.

I agree with a lot here but lukaku no chance i’d rather loan him out again and maybe keep Andrey. That will still be 20 players I’d keep mount and kante(on a reduced salary). I strongly disagree about Felix I’d try sign him or swap for lukaku and cash. Also get a goal keeper a dm and go for a striker. 25-26 man team.
