Considering the injuries she really wasn't alive, it was really misleading of the cops to say she was alive just because she was still breathing. It's common sense that people may still breathe when the brain is dead which is death. It really was wrong for a cop to act like he knew she was alive. Her talking would prove the injury wasn't so bad.

plus 99% of the time the attacker/killer/abuser details what happened, it’s the other way around. for example him claiming he asked for a divorce and she grabbed the gun to kill herself. there’s likely some truth to divorce being mentioned, but NOT by him. she likely did & that’s what sent him into a rage. it’s very obvious what happened. side note, it’s so sad that she bought herself flowers for valentines day.

I was married to a guy like this. I stayed with him 6 months and he got worse and worse and worse. He would take me aside and lecture me on how the food should be arranged in the refrigerator, he demanded that I look him straight in the eye when he would get super close to my face, then he started being cruel to my dog and demanding she stay in one room, then he began stating that maybe I needed a beating, then I looked at my dog and told her we would be leaving and so we did.

I'm so glad you were able to get away! How long has it been? A LOT of people think the most dangerous time for a woman to escape her abuser, is just that day.. or the following few days. But depending on how psychotic and justified they believe they are at getting rid of you, that critical dangerous timeframe can be weeks, months or even years. I recently came across a story of a young man who just lost his mom. He started noticing someone was desecrating her grave with human waste so he put up a hidden camera. Sure enough, here comes his dad, whom his mom escaped DECADES ago! STILL hating her even after death! That will be my ex guaranteed. I found out the hard way when after he became abusive, and controlling in ways you mentioned, (he was also having an affair) he had the man I had every right to move on with killed. AND he got away with it! It's so awful what a lot of us women go through. Especially the judgment and ostracizing from the community, as if something like this would NEVER happen to them, their daughters, or their mothers. Unreal the amount of power and control they have. But yes please be safe and aware. Hope your dog is still around cause it's probably one of the only true friends you got. They even turn your own family against you! Peace and many blessings to you and yours.. 🌷

Stfu, it's not always easy for domestic violence victims to just leave and start over somewhere else. There's money to consider, also the consideration that the abuser will find and end the victim. You can't tell a victim to "run with your life". Some have children and fear the custody outcome. There was a case I've seen that a husband was incredibly abusive and still got equal custody and the courts looked at the victim as crazy for wanting to keep her kids away from their abusive father. His abuse turned to his children. When the mother went to pick up the kids (she didn't have help with someone to pick them up to keep her away from her abuser for her) he threw her down some stairs and shot her. I believe her kids made it, but there are other cases where the father kills the children as revenge or another way to hurt the victim. If you want to tell other people this then go yourself and find true crime stuff that showed the episodes of abusive partners, there were tons of abusive husbands that they talked about ending their wife's life and sometimes both the mother and the children.

Took me 4 years but I did it. I left my abusive bf and am in much worse condition because of it. I am financially ruined and will not recover on my own for a while. This is why people choose to stay. Life can get so much worse if you leave because you built something together and not everything can be split evenly. Of course it's important to put yourself first, take care of your mental health. Anyone would "just leave" if they could. But chances of finding a house on your own are slim. And surviving off of a single full time job has become increasingly difficult too. People stay for those kinds of things.

I've been married to my wife since I'm 19 years old. We've had major disagreements and we almost separated once before. I would never, in a million years, wish harm on a person I loved. Let alone the person I chose to marry. It does not matter what they do. I chose to spend the rest of my life with my wife, and we're in a much healthier place now because we both live by the vows we made to one another. We will not give up on one another, even in the darkest of times and the hardest of strains; we will work and rebuild so long as we are faithful to one another. This is pure evil and the men that could do this to their wives aren't men. They're cowards who cannot control their emotion.

God didn't send that man the Devil did. This is what you call a soul-tie its demonic and so was her so-called husband. He said, she didn't have a job or nothing when he met her obvious she move in because she though he was gunna take care of her and her daughters so sad. Everyone isn't strong enough to be a single mother so they take any partner to fill the void. Now with the abortion ban women are going crazy. These people choose any partner based on status, money, good looks we see it all of the time, and in the end the outcome is usually fatal they barely get a divorce, they just commit murder. I wish she used her discernment. r.i.p

I saw this case on the series "Married to Evil." Olivia was an extremely intelligent young lady who was very business savvy and extremely driven. She is the reason Chris' food truck business was taking off. That was one of the things Chris felt threatened by was the fact that she was making more money than him and how she was very goal oriented. He was fired from the prison because he beat up a prisoner pretty bad; that's why he had to figure a different means of employment. This was truly one of thee most saddest cases I've seen of extreme control, intimidation, verbal and mental abuse. He controlled her so much that he did not even allow Olivia's family to their wedding. Her oldest daughter urged her mother to leave, but she wanted to fight for her marriage. I'll never understand how someone could bring harm to a person who has done nothing but show unconditional love to them. Heartbreaking! 💔

Literally. It was my dad and my sister (as far as I’m aware, but I wouldn’t go and put myself in close quarters w my brother 😅). Dad did that shit to my mom, and my sister did it to me (took me two years of living with her to realize she is that (after knowing her for 20yrs)). Will also probably go back bc I take care of her children and kind of financially depend on her bc the mom ditched us and took the youngest and ran off with a man she’s known for six months and left me w the dad. And it was, to another state she ran. Now she’s a drunk, and gives him all her money, including child support. (She also manipulated me into “getting rid of” papers that would let the dad fight for the youngest, so. Still don’t know how to feel ab that and it’s been a few years.) It’s just. Really disturbing. These people (the hardcore narcissists). Sinister and disgusting and evil and reprehensible and demonic. Truly, particularly what I went through with my sister-I am not religious, but all I can think of to describe what happened, is demonic. It would be the end of me if these people weren’t related to me and had some kind of fucked up sense of family. 😬
