Fun fact: when vox's face does the blue screen, it says something like " problem with voxtech electronic caused by virus, alastor. to fix, get him as far away from alastor as possible"

As cool as that would be, no mention of viruses can be seen in the bluescreen. It does say that the problem is caused by “Alastor.exe”, but from the rest of the context it seems more likely to be him expressing his tantrum and not a virus inserted by Alastor. It’s possible it is a literal virus, but it doesn’t seem probable to me

One thing I noticed is, Alastor kept a low profile not really caring until Vox challenged him, then Alastor made his grand return and quickly showing dominance. Showing above all Alastor lives for entertainment.

Alastor is always kinda there until someone actively defies him. The first time he went to the Hotel, Vaggie was extremely hostile, so he told her "You should smile more! You're never fully dressed without a smile!", a sentence that she would absolutely hate. And when Lucifer came around and started flaunting his superiority, Alastor immediately started to suggest he was stealing his dad role from his daughter. He hates to be challenged, and always hits back where it hurts most 😋

1:32 I love this shot. While it looks like Alastor is overwhelmed by Vox, most of the colour is Alastor's Reds, with only small splashes of Vox's Blues. Even if Vox and Alastor are equals, Vox spends so much of his energy on bombastic displays, while Alastor only uses what he needs to get his point across.

Hazbin Hotel honestly feels like Gravity Falls for adults, and I love it. I've been waiting for a new show like Gravity Falls since The Owl House ended, and I'm happy to finally have one.

Alastor's last verse (Let's begin...) is a reprise of Vox's first with Alastor twisting it around against him. Thing is, Alastor was still broadcasting at that point while Vox hadn't started broadcasting yet when he said it. So either it was simply putting bookends to a song, or Alastor showing Vox that even then he was still watching him.

Also the more interesting part is when Alastor uses way more descriptive and intimidating words than vox. While vox uses “ Make you wish you stay gone.” Is a simple threat. Alastor makes it scary to say “ make you wish that I Stayed gone.” Is a way more terrifying way to threaten someone with power.

Fun fact: before becoming an overlord. Alastor used to be an infamous serial killer/cannibal back when he was alive back in the 1920's which explains his radio voice. But his reign of terror was cut short after he was shot by hunters who mistook him for a deer while he was out in the woods with his latest victim. Once he died and his soul went to Hell, he then proceeded to kill all of the other overlords and carve a path of bloody carnage to where he is now. His true form is a reference to how he died. Being mistaken for a deer. So now hes a wendigo demon.

Some people said that Alstor is not strong and that he is scary makes you think that he is strong (before hazbin hotel started again) but now we see that Alstor is so strong that even one of the strongest over lords is afraid of him

I think it'd be cooler tho Like Alistor isnt strong byhimself, but he's made so many contracts that he can summon almost anything to do anything. Also why hes always on the radio, so you dont see it

I think he pretty strong. In the Pilot, Vaggie had mentioned he become top of the Overlord just in one night, and every demon are scared of his pure power.

@@yellowdeceiver4818he’s actually still a special overlord, most are decently strong but what makes them “overlords” is social power: favors to call in, businesses, etc. alaster on the other hand seems to simply be powerful. He has a few favors here or there and he has his radio show but that could be considered a hobby as he doesn’t seem to make money off it. Rather he seems to just be scarily strong.

I love how the idea of Vox glitching out whenever he's angry isn't just a character quirk, but an actual weakness that Alastor can exploit because he knows how much he pisses off Vox by just existing

Apparently if you look at the blue screen on Vox there's some text that says "Alastor.EXE which means he was hacked live.

Honestly it shows that Vox really DOES need the other Vees to accomplish anything especially when Alastor is around. They are the ones with the network of informants, they are the ones who go where he is too afraid to (like the meeting of Overlords), and Alastor may have been driven off by Adam, but at least he fought at all. Vox sure wasn't about to go anywhere near that Battlefield even if the opportunity to kill a weakened Alastor presented itself he was too afraid to do anything but watch.

If you notice that Lilith and Alastor has disappeared for 7 years but the moment Charlie asks for the mum's help in the pilot episode, Alastor appears on the hotel's doorsteps. Definitely a coincidence. Won't be surprised Alastor has made a deal with Lilith, which would explain why he's not scared or intimidated by anyone, even Lucifer. And now Zestial has had rumors' Alastor has dealt with Angels so imagine if Alastor made a deal with an Angel, he would be almost unstoppable.

Vox should have known better than to challenge not only one of the most powerful Overlords but also a man who knows exactly which buttons to push to deal the most damage. Alastor was perfectly aware that Vox's temper would bring him down and that the more strongly he reacted, the worse it would make him look. Alastor's awareness of which buttons to push to make it hurt the most is also shown when he does his song against Lucifer, he knew that playing his and Charlie's close relationship against Lucifer would sting.

Both Alastor and Lilith missing for 7 years is of course not a coincidence. I just hope he didn't do anything to her. Here's hoping he lost to her and she ordered him to go help her daughter. I'd hate if Charlie got closer to him only to learn that he hurt/killed her mother.

It's worth noting that, in the pilot, Alastor showed up at the Hotel's door literally *right after* Charlie called her mom, in addition to the fact that Alastor is later confirmed to owe his own soul to someone else (a fact that he seems to detest). I think Lillith might own Alastor's soul, which would both explain why he's so much stronger than even the other Overlords (probably his part of the bargain), what his connection to Lillith might be, and even the real reason why he showed up to the Hotel in the first place (under her orders?).
