I always love your videos, thank you for doing them. We'll be leaving for Italy soon and I always find them so informative and helpful. I do have a couple questions though. Would a picture of your passport be enough for stores, or does it have to be the real thing? Also does the purchase from the store have to be greater than the amount you said, or is it total purchases combined at the end of your trip? Thank you again for all the great videos.
@StayFabulousTL8 ай бұрын
Thank YOU for being a part of the community! Sure, will be happy to answer your questions. A picture of your passport is enough (just make sure the entire thing is visible, including all the letters and numbers around it.) The purchase from a single store needs to be greater than the amount, not the total purchase combined at the end of your trip. Please keep in mind that the limit has been decreased to 70 euros. Have a wonderful trip and happy shopping😉

If we came the 2nd week of March for 9 nights between rome, florence and venice, what do you think?
@StayFabulousTL Жыл бұрын
March is a bit of a wild card, to be honest. You might get some rain. This year has been unlike any other year, we got so much rain. But who knows, it might be a completely different March next year. I wish I could tell you with certainty but lately every year we've been getting a different weather, so now its hard to predict anything.

Hi Anastasia, I’m planning my dream holiday to Italy. Been wanting to go from the time I was a teenager and now entering 40 and after a health scare I decided I am going to make it happen. I’m saving my pennies to make this solo trip from South Africa. One question: the shopping for the tax refund, is it one purchase or can we buy multiple items at one store? I love your clothes but will also like to purchase something for my 8 year old little boy. Thank you so much 🙏🏼. I’m addicted to your videos
@StayFabulousTL Жыл бұрын
So kind of you! Thank you. Very excited for your upcoming trip! You can buy as many items as you'd like in the store for a tax refund. As long as the minimum amount exceeds 154.94 €, the store will be able to issue you a refund.

I have been planning as well for the last few months. My tip is when you want tickets for something find the official website. The tickets are much less than what the tour sites offer. And one thing I wish I had found earlier is in Naples you can get 1, 3, 5 or 7 day passes that are a good deal for admission to Pompeii and the MANN and it includes other sites as well

Hello, I happily stumbled across your KZbin video. Great info; very helpful. Do you have a tip on how to go from FCO Airport to our hotel in Trevi? We are arriving from Canada mid August and after a long flight, I want to avoid the heat and humidity. The hotel has a car transfer service for 57 euros and seems to be an average cost. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
@StayFabulousTL2 жыл бұрын
Hi Eve! You can either take a cab or a train ( I believe there is also a bus option.) I personally used train only once as I love to get out of the plane and get home comfortably as soon as possible. But I know a lot of people use the train. You can find signs for the train everywhere once you pass the immigration. As far as a car service, this year the prices went up a bit. A taxi used to be 48 euros, now I believe it's 50. So 57 is on the expensive end but that will guarantee that someone will be waiting for you right at the airport and you will not have to fight for a taxi in the heat and humidity.
@evenovotny45392 жыл бұрын
Wow, thank you for your very quick reply! Yes, the car is convenient but also pricey. I will look into the train. I look forward to watching your other videos. :)

To be honest, it depends where in Trastevere. There are some quiet parts and there are some really loud ones. Also, please keep in mind that it's not well connected to the other areas of Rome so you might have to walk a lot or take cabs. Hi Sylvia! I think it depends on the tour company and the type of a vacation you prefer. If you like everything planned for you then tour company is a better option. I personally prefer to discover places on my own at my speed and create my own itinerary. But it depends what you prefer.

Hi Sylvia! I saw some locals swim in March but for most people the water would still be too cold.

@@StayFabulousTL I would have to go in April or September. Are the crowds low in those months? Getting in the Sea is very important to me. Thank you!

I hear you. Same here. I would go in September then.

I noticed that when I was in Spain for some reason the local taxi app did not accept my phone number. When I put in my American number I could not receive a text to receive a confirmation code to continue through with my profile. Has anyone had that experience? If so what should I keep in mind?
