The writing was crisp, crazy funny, and ahead of its time. And of course, the “Girls” were amazing actresses.

And the topics they hit were practically a first for television and for women of their ages. They talked about racism, navigating the dating scene, problems with adult children(remember the episode where Blanches daughter wanted a baby?). Just so much and it's all still relevant

The Murder Mystery episode was always a favorite of mine! Mostly because I always hoped that, if I were to attend one of those dinners, I would also be able to give up the who, the how, and the HA! Also, unless they were included in the previous videos, two of my other favorite scenes are "It's time for Temple" and "Declare you incompetent"!

I relate so much to Blanche when she talks to Big Daddy in his casket. My mom passed 2 months before my 70th birthday. Dad has been gone for many years. That feeling of knowing you will never be anybodys little girl again is so wrenching. Other than my pupper I will never be as unconditionally loved as mama and daddy loved me.

That moment that Dorothy had with dr. Bud is still a very real situation that takes place today. I had a talk with my doctor and the staff, unfortunately it did no good and they didn't just dismiss me like I was not important but they also sent me a letter telling me that they could not treat me anymore. They certainly didn't want to get sued and that was the reason for that. It was a very upsetting time in my life it's not the first time that I have felt the lack of trust with doctors. I explained the situation to other doctors and they told me that unfortunately there are doctors out there who do not care about their patients. The fact that other doctors admit to this is sad and it's sad that nothing is done about it.

I feel you. Same thing happened to me after I had knee surgery for Meniscus repair. My knee couldn't bend and was just stiff. I couldn't sit properly, can't even walk, was in excruciating pain and the doctor (surgeon) just told me to take pain meds and learn to live with it, saying that sometimes surgeries have complications. He prescribed Naprosyn and dismissed me. I was shattered. My crazy sister went to the hospital and caused a scene there lmao. I'm so lucky I have a cuckoo sister like her. After that, I called Montefiore orthopaedic hospital and the doctors there told me that they don't usually start off from where other doctors stopped but my situation was very peculiar. I can't thank those doctors enough. To cut the story short, the doctors first recommended they perform an MUA ( Manipulation Under Anaesthesia) and then another knee reconstructive surgery, and viola today I am walking. Took me 19 months to recover. (I actually started counting how many months I was immobile) Lost 2 years of my life because of a heartless surgeon.
