It's hard to say because in latin america this is the music of choice where as other places it's the blues or jazz. The music is part of his culture which makes a huge difference when connecting with the harmony of music.

Whenever someone is sufficiently skilled, everyone will always claim it’s inherent talent. Maybe the talent is in the dedication to the skill and its refinement. I guarantee that, excluding savants, everyone does and has to work hard to achieve mastery in their fields.

Pertence a uma família de músicos, mas nunca frequentou nenhuma escola ou conservatório de música. Ele é um autodidata. Aprendeu a tocar violão fazendo jam com outros músicos e tocou todos os estilos musicais. Trabalhou com vários grupos de músicos em Recife, Bahia e Rio de Janeiro (Brasil), gravando o disco “Vento Norte” com o grupo Karetas, que foi Não .1 em vendas no Brasil em 1982. Em 1989 decidiu cruzar o Oceano Atlântico com o irmão, que também é músico. Trabalharam em Lisboa durante dois anos, dedicando-se à música afro-brasileira. Em 1992 fez uma digressão pela Espanha com a orquestra Linea Continua, participando no “Autumn Jazz” de Zamora (Castela) onde tocou com o saxofonista Quique Macias. In the whole history of mankind, no one can play guitar like Naudo. He is the only one who can play all songs by self interpretation. He just listen to the original music then he re-arrange the song by himself to his own style, immediately. He fills many technique into the songs that other cannot copycat. There has been a lot of practice here, but this is beyond that. Ive been playing guitar (saxophone, trumpet, and piano also) and this cat simply has music in his blood.
