While My Guitar Gently Weeps is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1968 double album The Beatles (also known as "the White Album"). It was written by George Harrison, the band's lead guitarist. The song serves as a comment on the disharmony within the Beatles following their return from studying Transcendental Meditation in India in early 1968. This lack of camaraderie was reflected in the band's initial apathy towards the composition, which Harrison countered by inviting his friend and occasional collaborator, Eric Clapton, to contribute to the recording. Clapton overdubbed a lead guitar part, although he was not formally credited for his contribution

What a great guitar player! amazing fingers playing all roles of a complete orchestra... this is talent ...how did he develop such skills? I bet there is no school for his style ! he has music as soul or else how could he feel and deliver such a vast genre of music! I would love to see him performing LIVE that would be my nirvana!

3:13 DANG! Being a guitarist myself, if you have small hands, that is a very difficult and nearly impossible stretch across the fretboard.

@@bread1616 You could probably get away with just changing the bass note to something else...at least until your fingers grow. Rock on, buddy! 🤘

How are there 74 maniacs who thumbs down this video?! Also mind blowing how a single person could be having a conversation while this magician was sharing his craft.

What more can you say? It's extra special. It's not just the bass, rhythm and melody that he plays in these songs. It may sound cliche, but he sings through the instrument.
