I played the poker tournament there on a Saturday with only 22 players. I’m having trouble finding a good poker app here in Cambodia. Any suggestions?

What stakes were available here? Were the larger games mostly tourists or expat pros?

They had 1/3 to 10/20. The higher limits only run during the night. I was only there a couple of days, so it was hard to tell how many "pros" there were.

Is the rake on the high side?

For hold 'em it's roughly 5% uncapped (for every $20 that goes in, $1 gets raked). For PLO it's the same but with a $5 cap.

nice. i've been trying to get into poker myself recently, but it's a lot to take in. do you maybe have any tips for someone just starting out? helpful tools, sites or sth of the sort.

also didnt you use to have poker videos on the main channel? i never used to care about those before, but a few weeks ago when i first got interested i remembered you had some and discovered they weren't there anymore. did you just delete them or can i still find them anywhere?

I highly recommend Blackrain79. He's one of the few poker pros who really dedicates himself to helping people learn the basics of lower-stakes play. Google search him or visit his website (blackrain79.com).
