Nice video…Jan 2024 hearing the announcement of rising resort fees to $50…WOW…Everyone knows the cost of everything is rising…but why not raised the room rates instead? I know people look at room rates first. We were planning to stay on the Strip ( our first time). We always stay at the downtown Hotels… from Hawaii. This year we may stay at downtown again…take a cab / shuttle to the strip? Vegas is trying to upgrade and upscale their resorts.. But it s the little people with our nickels and dimes we spent that makes more money for those resorts… Aloha

I didnt know about the rate increase, but i agree with you they should just increase the rate of the room instead. I know when i book i look at the prices of the rooms first. They already make money hand over fist and nickle and diming guests isnt going to make things easier for those eho want to have a fun weekend without breaking the bank. My recommendation is to join the membership programs for caesars and or mgm. People who spend money at yhe casinos and in food at these resorts can gain free rooms on many of the days. The resort fee is all you would need to pay. Unfortunalty people will still pay the money and ideally massive amountd of people would need to stay away to see if we can hit them where it hurts in order for the overcharging to stop.
