I think Norröra is the real name of the island of Saltkråkan from the TV-series "Vi på Saltkråkan" from the 60ies, written by Astrid Lindgrens. The house you stayed in even looks a lot like "Snickargården" which the Melkersson family rented.

Sweden is an amazing country the people are friendly and not violent the nature is so beautiful and the standard of living is very high. Here in America we have so many problems now so many! I have visited several European countries in past Sweden is definitely next on my list.

Wow, that's really far north in the archipelago, never went there. I love how you can just go pretty much anywhere if you have a boat, weigh anchor and chill on some island. Unless it's a bird sanctuary or military zone, but there are so many islands you'll never visit them all anyway. :) Go allemansrätten.

Hi Phoebe, thanks for a soothing video, really nice to watch it. I am curious as to why you chose Norröra island, in the Stockholm archipelago? You may not know it (?), but the island was base for the filming of the 60´s iconic (both in Norway and Sweden) and immensely popular Swedish television series "Vi på Saltkråkan," Seacrow Island in English and scripted by Astrid Lindgren who also wrote "Pippi Longstockings."
