The reason why pod hotels are such a success in Japan is because they are much much cheaper than a normal hotel room, in Mumbai just by spending a little more than 1400 you might get a 3 star hotel room, imo these are just a gimmick and won't survive for long, but yeah if you have to experience pods you can always take a Volvo sleeper bus😂

According to me the Rooms are tiny but I think in India most of the people like almost joint families stay in 1BHK in urban area. India is developing and now having almost every facility available so why not these luxurious and modern concept hotel. I think we should appreciate it 😇 !!

But you could be an introvert and live alone in a big house..In fact in regular hotel rooms you can order room service so that you can avoid running into people. Here with common dining area you will have go out to eat. This thing is actually for extroverts

Stayed in a similar pod hotel in Male, Maldives which is also like Mumbai - extremely tightly packed! This kind of futuristic stuff makes me sad, just proves we are getting more self centered and lonely. Right now i am so thankful for my room with windows, trees outside with sunlight coming through and birds chirping. So thankful i don't live in a crowded city.
