great stuff Jeremy. I have been watching the Hakodate harbor-area webcam for years. Seems to snowing there 75% of the time in winter. Its first on my list to visit when i get to Hokkaido. Seafood and footbaths...2 of my favs.

Free lost and found for whomever can get the box open! I actually think it just may have been some lawn care type supplies for the park (maybe?)

It is probably damp there and the cold gets inside you. Stay warm. Excellent video. As always.

@T1DWanderer don't slip on that ice. As we use to say in the Air force ,when you fell on the ice " you got bitten from the snow snake ". LOL.

"It's also good to look at things from the Optometrist's way." My guess about the pen and pad would have been it's for the Chinese Tourist as Chinese Characters are still in use for place names, but then the advise was only in English and Japanese???
@T1DWanderer

It may be that written English is often easier for Japanese people than spoken English. They aren't taught native, natural English pronunciation in school, so listening can be nearly impossible. But students do a lot of reading and writing

Jeremy-san, I strongly recommend to insert Japanese subtitles. As you know mostly Japanese people doesn't speak English. And many Japanese train geeks are interested in overseas transportation.
