He covers his eyes because when they first debuted bigbang was called the ugly idols by people because YG was a small struggling company and didn't have stylist (which actually worked in their favor later because Bigbang was allowed to their own fashion looks which made them stand out and inspire the next generation of groups)But Daesung took the criticism about his eyes been ugly to heart so he started covering them.
